In Santa Tereza area (quite busy area during the night) is Nova Capela. An old fashioned restaurant with good cuisine - nothing memorable though and the selection lilited. Very polite staff and ok prices. Shall I return there? ..... once was just fine :-)

Good food and service, traditionally from Rio, with friendliness, courtesy and joy. Historical place, with seal of cultural heritage of Rio de Janeiro. High prices, so the negative point.

Nice local place! Good food and service. We ordered rissotto which was very good. The MVP was the piamontese rice. Simply amazing taste! Also try pastel de nata!

On of the oldest restaurants in Rio, this is a great place to get a hearty meal. Two of us decided to order one main (Trout with almond sauce) and one side of broccoli rice to share and boy are we glad we didn’t order...More
