A piece of Bretagne in the middle of Copacabana. Better crepes and galletes then Bretagne gas. The best crepe in the world. My favorite restaurant in the whole world. A perfect cidre. In the most beautiful place that I have ever seen: Rio.

It was a great choice to spare pleasant time with my wife and my daughter as well. The menu has plenty of choice of stylish crepes with sarraceno wheat alias black wheat. Good options, small place. We were lucky, we just waited few minutes to get our table. However we have read that several guests had troubles to get their... More

The restaurant is only open for dinner (from 7:30PM) and it fills up VERY quickly, so I would recommend arriving even before it opens. The food is amazing there are a wide variety of different crepes for all tastes, the dessert crepes are just magnificent, you will not regret it! The ambient is dark and cozy, it is a very... More

I followed the advice of other reviewers and arrived a few minutes before Le Ble Noir opened... EVEN SO the place was already full. A family of 8-10 were already seated, and another group of 4 beat us by seconds. Actually, we arrived in between the two pairs but they got the seats. Everything else was already reserved which wasn't... More

The galettes and crepes are great and inovative! You may wait if you don't have reservations because it's not big. It's a nice experience altough It's a bit pricy...

Le Ble Noir is a nice change of pace from local cuisine. Savoury Buckwheat crepes as well as desert crepes are their forte. Good services service in a vibrant atmosphere, made this a great choice tonight.

It's definitely a memorable restaurant and I really look forward on returning there some day. The place is tinny, but cozy with good lighting, small tables and not a lot of free space. (baby trolleys can be a problem) It's ALWAYS busy, so make sure you reserve in advance.

Went with my wife this week and it was an enjoyable experience but we both felt that the attempt to make it romantic went a little overboard as it was very hard to see our meals. The sparkling wine was very nice and I went for the fillet mignon with red wine jus crepe which I slightly regretted as although... More

I went there with my significant other in December and was not disappointed. The variety of crèpes, or galettes, was just astounding, not to mention their wine menu and cider. The service was fast and friendly, and the amosphere, very cosy and romantic. I was very happy there. Hope you are, too.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
