I went to this old-style churrascaria with my four-year old son, and waited for my father and his companion. While I was there alone with the kid, the waiters seemed very uneasy, walking around me, when I walked toward the "meat window," and asking if I wanted to order anything, even though I had said that I was waiting for... This is not a restaurant tourists use to go, although it is a Rio's classic. Great food, at a reasonable price. Going there you must eat meat, do not ask for fish or pasta.

This is not a tourist restaurant. This is classic Rio. It is where local families head for an outing on weekends and business goes for a meal during the week. This Churrascaria is old school. It is not rodizio. You select your meat from the expansive selection of cuts (not unlike a butcher shop) which are then cooked on charcoal... More

There was a group of us and we were very excited to try a churrascaria. This one is an a la carte place so from what I've heard it is very traditional and better than the rotating all your can eat ones so I was very excited to try it. We ordered plenty of food and had a few different... More

In my opinion, this restaurant Has the best meat In town. The cost-benfit radio is outstanding! I would recomend for family, business and solo. The best "picanha", a great "fraldinha" and even the fish Is worthy! I Would recomend the "Badejo" as my favourite fish option.

HIdden in a building all but fancy, I had the best T/Bone I had in Brazil so far. Must say that the place was packed at capacity (four big rooms that I could see), nonetheless the service was quick and dedicated. Cannot find a flaw in the quality of the meet or its preparation. Good caipirinha, good dessert. Will not... More

We are not meat lovers but have been told that this is the best churrascaria in Rio for a while, so decided to try it on Sunday. The place was super busy with a lot of families coming to have lunch there. That meant the place was super noisy but gave it a certain buzz and atmosphere, so as long... More

My brazilian friend took me there and I loved it. The meat was perfect, the portions huge, the caipirinha really good, the prices very reasonable and the service outstanding. You should definitely try the banana farofa, the Picanha and the Batata Pastel!!
