I love the organic chicken and the drinks without alcohol, specially the pink lemonade, made with rose water. The "Os cariocas" drink is a good option for an alcoholic drink made with Absolut Vodka and the brazilian "mate". Great place for lunch after the beach.

Very nice place, a bit posh but by far the best food I had in Ipanema. I went there twice so far. Very well prepared, you can't really choose wrong. The tuna steak was extraordinary. I recommend having a three course meal, as the starters and deserts are delicious. The devil's cake is a great way to finish your meal... More

I looove Zaza! It is super local, a place I will go and hang with my friends after work with great food and drinks and ambiance. Service is beautiful, dishes are varied with good veggie options. I always order the beet pasta - love it! Try their exotic juice combinations and delicious starters. I sometimes order various starters with friends... More

A great find! Romantic, unique, and delicious food. What else is there? Our tour guide and the hotel concierge both recommended. Upstairs is like couch seating where you take off your shoes and this was recommended. we did not have a reservation and we got in downstairs just fine. Romantic please with dim lighting, great service, and unique food creations.

Sat on veranda, which was great. Had a delicious cocktail, and the lamb & ravioli entree was outstanding (quite rich in taste, but still delicious). The ceviche & guacamole starter was good, but nothing incredibly special. The chicken curry entree was good, but nothing compared to the lamb dish. We ordered the Devils cake because we'd heard good things about... More

Came to Zaza for dinner. The place has really cool decor, a veranda and 2 floors inside. You sit on the ground on the archive floor! The food was really good! The lamb with truffle sauce was exquisite. I found the strongly recommended online coconut chicken and devil's cake a little overrated but still pretty good. There were some couples... More

Attractive little bistro a couple of blocks off Ipanama Beach. Upscale ambiance. Vegetarian special of the day was vegetables with Brazilian spice and curry. Exceptional seasoning. My husband enjoyed the grouper (fish). Entrees start at about $20 USD. Best meal we had in Brazil.

The food and service were wonderful, the flavors of the food so unique that I still dream about the sauce that came with the lamb/cordeiro! The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. The service was attentive, and our waiter was great with recommendations.

I really like Zaza. They have a cocktails, tartar and ceviche are awesome and even not liking lamb the "shishibarak" has its charm! The only thing i had there that i didnt like much was the noodle with lemon grass (it as blend); other things are, if not great, good. They change their menu often, and some really good dishes... This restaurant is located very close to the beach and around Praça Nossa Senhora da Paz. The food is very good, different and a little pricy. It is small but good taste decoration.
