This restaurant is always busy if you want to enjoy the food and atmosphere then book online otherwise you could spend 30-60 mins waiting outside. The appetisers were excellent however the main course of chicken curry lacked a little flavour. I would still recommend this place as it has a nice buzz

I loved the meal I had at Zazá Bistrô. An American friend had been there before and wanted to go again so he invited me. The meal was nice, but drinks were just too expensive...more than R$ 30 for a drink, including caipirinhas? This is way more than what many nice restaurants charge for a drink and I personally don't... More

I was there with some friends for lunch and it was really amazing. Have a drink with cachaça and red berries. I recommend it a lot!

This quaint local restaurant gives you a taste of Rio. It was recommended to us by the concierge at Copacabana Palace. I would recommend that you book beforehand since it is very popular with locals and tourists. The drinks and food is very good and the atmosphere is excellent. The food menu is small but the food is prepared with... More

My daughter chose this restaurant from some app because of the gluten free options. I ate very gluten dishes and loved mine. Make a reservation - we came too early - Sunday they open at 7pm - so we made a reservation - came back at 7pm and yup - they were packed - but had our table. I cannot... More

The food here is amazing. Everything we have ordered was really original and tasty. The food is fusion, meaning that it gets the best of every cuisine and mix it together. The atmosphere is very cool and trendy, unfortunately most of the clients are tourists, as the price is too high for the Brazilian standards. Also, my card did not... More

I discover this corner Bistro and what a great eclectic little place. I ate solo so I took a lot of time to look around at the motif and how nothing matches yet everything looks great together. As an experiment, I decided to figure out the menu the best I could without asking for assistance. I was able to decipher... More

I recommend this restaurant, as the food is delicious, service is great and there is a unique decoration!!! And also delicious drinks! It is a must go in Rio after a great Ipanema beach day. (They also have a gadget that you can clean you feet before eating) But I have to warn you that it is a bit pricy.

Staying in Ipanema

Neighborhood Profile
Ipanema is considered Rio's crown jewel. It offers the best view of the sunset from Arpoador and is inspiration for the legendary song, “The Girl from Ipanema.” Ipanema is an upscale area, home to many high-end restaurants and luxury shops, many of which can be found on the charming Garcia d'Ávila Avenue. The neighbourhood is very rich culturally, housing many art galleries that show contemporary art. There is also a great variety of nightlife in the neighbourhood, which buzzes with many options for every taste.
