Restaurant in Botanical Gardens had an unusual selection of food. One of the few things that we recognised was quiche & salad, & that was very tasty. I would have welcomed a more 'normal' selection of cold drinks. I didn't like the coconut drink that...seemed to be popular.More
Large sandwiches with locally made bread, huge desserts, and decent coffee make this a lovely place for a leisurely lunch with friends. Service is a little slow, but in keeping with the laid-back nature of the environment.
After walking around the gardens for 3 hours, this was the perfect place for me to relax, read, eat and charge my phone, really nice and welcoming staff, not hungry staff chasing for tips, were nice and genuine people, food was great and i totally...relaxed and didn't have a worry in the world!!More
Adjacent to the entrance of Jardim Botanico, this small open air cafe offers light lunches, pastries, coffees and teas with very relaxed service. After exploring the gardens, this was a convenient place for a rest and recharge.
Nice selection of snacks and breads, decent coffee. Good place to meet if you lose your friends or family during the excursion. Also convenient while your children are watching the turtles in the pond.
Enjoyed a brief stop here when we visited the Jardim Botanico. It is located just outside the ticket gates. The food is really good here - french inspired and homemade pastries - just delicious.
Service might be a bit more attentive and fast. But we...were not in a rush.More
With no a/c, we chose to eat outside under the umbrellas to catch a breeze. We waited a long time for service, then a long time to get our water, but lunch was tasty. Then before we had finished our lunches, a waiter moved the...umbrella that was shading us to another table, and other waitpersons who had brought their lunch sat under it, leaving us in the hot sun. The customers around us looked shocked and one tried to say something to the waitstaff. I overheard one waitress, looking at us, say: no importa. We paid our bill and left, but not before our waitress added a tip to our bill. I wouldn't go back.More
