One of the best fast (light) food in Rio de Janeiro. The prices also are very atractive, but go there if are in Lapa, not take out of you way to go there.

Nice bar in Lapa with live music during also during the week. You have to pay an entrance fee though and (compared to mojito prices on the street) quite pricey.

I loved this place. Yes, you do pay a cover charge, but it's worth it. They have live bands, live djs, great selection of drinks. I had a blast with my friends at this place. My brazilian friends took me to this place and it...More

Staff at entrance were very rude. As soon as I spoke English, they would not let myself & girlfriend in! They should say this in the guides so foreigners do not waste their time going there!

We stopped by at a quiet time (7pm on a Wednesday) but made good use of their mid week promotion (3x 600ml beers for R$22). A good local band played and the outdoor seating is a good place to people watch. They have a strange...More

This was such a fun place to go on a Sunday night. Lots of locals and due to the cover charge, most people were just hanging and dancing outside. With the place being open, you can't miss the music that was playing. As the night...More

Having been in the famous Copacabana and Ipanema areas and finding the nightlife lackluster we ventured a bit further into the Lapa area to rio Scenarium- which is supposed to be the top nightlife spot in Rio. Needless to say although nice, it was not...More

Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born.
With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical
