Organization is pretty terrible, s***. They give you a card that you are supposed to pay with along the night. You pay going out, waiting for 30 minutes. They also try to charge full price for happy hours drinks when it was 2 for 1....I hate those habbits. La gente intenta cargado todo el precio para happy hour drinks. Eles hacen pagar la gente al final de la noche. Foi sufficient mal contento para esribir en ingles e espagnol, soy frances. Fuyez ce lieux d’escroc.More

The place was amazing.. the atmosphere and vibe is the most. A place to freedom all of your mind. Nice people in the house, very organised, secure and the waiters are fantastic proud of what their doing. Only needs to upgrade the toilets.. but after...few drinks you won’t be bother anyway! Look forward to go back there again. ThanksMore

We were told to pay 40R$ per person so that we would have unlimited drinks until 12:00.There was a line of at least 50 people waiting for these free drinks and on only one barman serving. And by the time we were about to get our...free drinks it was already 12:00.We entered the line at 23:05!This is terrible customer service. So of course i had to go to the other bar and pay for my drinks. When I decided to leave i headed for the exit and I was told that i had to pay my drinks at the second floor and not there. As i went up waiting again on a line to pay I was so frustrated I went down and told the big guy at the door that i don't feel well it was so crowdy and that i need to go out and I had no problem paying more I just wanted to get out.He looked at me with anger like he was gonna punch me!I felt like I was imprisoned!I sat down not feeling well.and my friend went to pay and after 45 minutes we were out the door! This IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!More

Unfortunately mixing cheep alcohol into "original" bottles is a little too common in Rio. I suspect I fell victim to that in this bar... I had one and a half gin tonics, and after a couple hours I already had horrible alcohol poisoning symptoms, and not...the regular hangover kind, I know what getting "drunk" feels like, but this time I had a violent reaction that did not feel normal at all (threw up for a long while), my body didn't rest until every last drop was out of my system. I had to leave early when I suddenly felt very strange, too much of reaction for the amount I drank. It ruined my night. Otherwise it's okay for dancing Forro and Latin music etc, that's only reason I'm not giving just one star. But nothing extraordinarily special. If you're a foreigner stay extra sharp so they won't rip you off. ;)More

Don’t go here. Ok, it’s nice, some locals dancing etc.... but if you stay late, they will rip you off. My brother left with 5 locals to help someone in a taxi (a drunk person, a few friends with her). He came back for and...paid again, Then.... they made me pay again! I didn’t EVER leave the club! It was insane. I felt so fearful that I paid the $50 real. It was honestly a pure ripoff. I’ll go back to Rio. I’ll never go back here. Do. Not. Go. If. You’re. A. Tourist. If you do, LEAVE EARLY. or else you’ll get some bogus charge. I promise you.More

I do not know if it is a bar or if it is a restaurant but I am sure it is a place where every single person from South America feels at home. The snacks are amazing, the food gorgeous, the service a little slow...but the vibe, the ambience and the friends you make there justify my excellent vote for this informal latin american embassy. Great music from Salsa, Merengue and Samba. Another great option to understand the brazilian culture.More

this bar is located in an area of lapa is some kind of bermuda triangle of tourist traps: every tourist that visit rio will end up being ripped off in a bar in the area. not that it's dangerous or particularly bad: it's just souless...(though it might look like it has lots of soul).More
