Really nice restaurant in popular Sao Cristovao, I recommend the gratelloni Sao Cristovao. The red wine was good too. I will be back soon.

I went to Casa do Sardo 3 days ago(Dec 29) for a unplanned lunch with a friend. The location is easy to reach by car, subway and train. I took the subway until the São Cristovão station and a 5 minutes car ride to Casa do Sardo. There was a line of 6 tables before us. Most of them was... More

If you pass in front of this restaurant you'll never guess the wonders that wait for you inside. A small but charming place, with a good service and great food, from the beginning to dessert it tastes like Italy - and you're reading this review of an Italian descendant! Pastas are home made and I had a fantastic gnocchi. For... More

This restaurant is really a little piece of Italy in Rio de Janeiro. That is not those fancy places, it is in fact a place where you can find typical Italian food. We ate some fantastic breads, and then an octopus. We will definitely come back.

From Sardigna straight to Rio, an exquisit restaurant with excellent food and service, and very reasonable prices. It is not located in the most touristic places of Rio - but very close to Quinta da Boa Vista which is vert beautiful in spite of quite abandoned by the Municipality (at Quinta, where the Portuguese crown located the Imperial Palace short... Excellent restaurant. Food is excellent at reasonable price. Small restaurant and personalized service. As it is not situated at a turistic hotspot, even during the Olympics crowded by locals.

A traditional Italian restaurant, great food and the service was pretty good. I would recommend going here if you are in this neck of the woods.

Informal settings. Good wine list. Great atmosphere! Excellent food! We had some difficulty in parking at night! Très branchée!

This place was highly recommended by a friend but we were disappointed. The Place is owned by a Sicilian and a Sardinian who was not there. It seems the staff was totally in it over their head and the kitchen was overwhelmed. We had to ask for everything. Napkins, parmesan, ice bucket for wine. The dishes we wanted were not... More
