I do a lot of research to find a cute and well made coffee spot when i travel and this place did not disappoint. The cafe was very clean and the staff was very friendly. our server took the time to individually show and explain to us all of the pastries. My favorite was the small dolce de leite cake! this place is a must when traveling to rio

First time visiting this beautiful little place, all the products offered are of great quality. The menu offers several options, including for vegetarians. My choice was a mushroom toast, very well served and tasty!! I also took the opportunity to try some new drinks, I recommend the horto espresso and the zone sud. The atmosphere is super pleasant, the service is great, it is also possible to work at the tables outside (an important detail is the sockets for each table).

RIO DE JANEIRO - I have been more than once and at varying times. I like very much for snacks ...related to dinner is already more limited, but there is crepes, quiches... I would say that the strongest are snacks and coffee. Negative point...heat weekend the air does not give up and externally is not an option.

Beautiful environment. The food, although pleasing to the eye, was not very tasty and arrived cold. The attendant who served us was extremely rude, and we spent a long time waiting to be served even though the establishment was empty.

I'm talking about the Barra da Tijuca store on Rua Érico Veríssimo: Breakfast consisting of a coffee with milk and a hot mix cost more than R$40.00. And the worst part is that it was bad. There is no skimmed milk and no lactose! A luxury bakery and there's nothing simple about it. Only vegetable or whole milk. The sandwich is more or less good. Slow service and very weak attendants, new to the house and very unfriendly.

This place was fantastic. There is a large outdoor patio that was completely full on a Monday at 12:30. The menu is extensive and reasonable. The food was excellent. We wondered after some other negative reviews about the service etc. it was definitely a leisurely service but the restaurant was full. It was a great breakfast/ lunch spot if you’re headed to Botanical Gardens.

We went to la bicyclette in Barra a couple times during our stay due to recommendations from locals. It was great place for reasonable breakfast with lots of options. The bread was highly rated!

Looking forward to french brunch, and a great outdoor seating, we were a bit deceived... One positive note is the curucuma latte that was delicious (but with various degrees of curucuma in the similar beverages).

The bread, the sandwich, the fresh juice! Our friend recommended this place to us - and it is very near to the Botanical Gardens - and we were delighted. With inside and outside seating - the lunch sandwich was huge - and delicious. My salad was fresh. I wasn't keen on the dressing - but in Brazil all you need is olive oil anyway. Hidden gem in Rio! Did I mention the bread?

Best bread that we had in the city. Lovely salads and sandwiches. Fantastic atmosphere just outside the gates of the botanical garden. Kind service and atmosphere. Would definitely go back!
