Simplesmente is a traditional bar/restaurant in the heart of Santa Teresa. Cool atmosphere, good Brazilian food, cold beers. A lovely choice in Santa Teresa.

Very nice pastry, cheese, palmito etc. The location is very old-stylish, really lovely place. In the heart of Santa Teresa.

Immersed with the locals, plus great food and drink. Just what the doctor ordered. Would definitely recommend. 10/10.

Big bottle of Brahma for R$9 and the filé Mignon with accompaniments for R$28. Food was good quality, meat cooked well and the whole dish was nice for the price: 4* Staff: 1* Staff may as well have not existed. Whoever manages this restaurant needs to sort out their staff. Smile, be attentive, do not forget things... Simple basics that... More

We came here twice whilst staying in Santa Teresa. Buzzy little spot. Informal. We had pizza both times because it was so good. Red wine by the glass excellent. We actually found the service quite helpful ...

We were looking for another restaurant in Santa Teresa that seemed to have disappeared. So we walked in on a Friday evening and were quickly seated. We speak about 3 words of Portuguese (linguica, beer--well, maybe just 2)--and the server spoke no English. But we were able to gesture our way through orders of appetizers, pizzas and filet mignon, along... More

Nice bar/restaurant. Lots of "freaky" people, kind staff. Great food and great beer/caipirinhas. We went there three times and stayed there for hours, enjoying the food and drinks. Great atmosphere with locals. And good value for money. Dinner for two plus beer plus many, many caipirinhas = around € 30,-

Staying in Santa Teresa

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors can now stroll through this area to view magnificent mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a former mansion turned museum which houses works by prominent Brazilian modern artists.
