This is an old school sea food restaurant. The food is consistent and very good. The waiters take their job seriously and will help you pick the best fish. Mind you, most servings are to share.

The restaurant is very informal with an easy and relaxed atmosphere. Location is pretty good and easy to reach as just opposite to the metro station Cantagalo on Barata Ribeiro in Copacabana. Relatively small place with about 16-18 between the indoor and outdoor tables. The place...was recommended to us by a local friend and we decided to go there for dinner during a week day without any reservation. The food was of good quality , especially the fish cannot be missed , great starters and mains. Good selection of wines and beers. Also they can make popular local cocktails fruit based. Portions are generous and enough for 2, the fish is fresh, though not sophisticated in the presentation. The house mix Mochaca is good. Also , pastel de camarao and casquinha de Siri were tasty. The staff was relaxed and a bit distracted ,they do not speak much English but is not difficult to let them understand what you want or need. For 2 starters, and a main for 2 (huge portion!!) with service included we spent about 52 US dollars/ 42 GBP/ 48EUR. Would recommend for an easy evening while visiting Rio.More

The price is too expensive, the atmosphere is not the best, while the service is also not what you experience in other places in Rio. The food is average, nothing special, a little tasteless. Portions are good.

The atmosphere was not like any other place I went in Rio. It was a little stale here. Even attempting to speak Portuguese I wasn’t met with kindness or understanding. Portion size was smaller while price was higher. As a last result not a bad...place but their are better places to eat.More

We had dinner here with a group of 6 friends. We didn't make a reservation, but they created a table after waiting for ten minutes, so that was perfect. We shared the salmon and shrimp risotto, which were both delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful

The service is excellent. I don’t speak Portuguese but they were friendly and willing to work with us on figuring out how to communicate. The food is also excellent. We ordered a lobster dish that fed 3 of us. Would go back again!

Foreigners visiting Brazil crave for the opportunity to eat great and fresh seafood for (much) lower prices than at home - well, the food in this restaurant is great but prices are too high for Brazilian standards! It is very easy to get to, on...the very busy Barata Ribeiro street in Copacabana, right before the tunnel and facing Cantagalo tube station! If not into seafood or with some restriction, the options are very scarce and pricey for you, sorry! Everything there costs a lot but maybe less if thinking in your home currency; for the price you certainly pay at home, it may be worth the meal. But you can be wise and avoid the extortion with an important tip: Portions tend to be quite large, even with starters, so order one or two along with a side dish and share them - three people will be more than satisfied and at the end it shall cost much less than the order of a main course per person! The menu is not in English and waiters have no knowledge of anything but Portuguese, so bring a translator, ask at the neighbouring table or see what others are eating.More

Small seafood restaurant serving fresh fish and other dishes. Specialty is all sorts of seafood dishes but finger food as we call it, is great. Prices are very reasonable, ice cold beer, snacks and delicious seafood. Given it 4 stars due to the comfort of...the seats in the restaurant but then again we can't have it all..More

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional

chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and
more live side-by-side. There are options for all
