The restaurant is cosy, small and located on the famous Dias Ferreira street. I have been there with my daughter and friends, and were surprised by the variety of contemporary Japanese food. However, if you want to eat sushi at an affordable price, don't go there. Everything, ranging from the caipirinha to the starters, was totally overpriced.

I go here repeatedly for lunch as their executive lunch menu is delicious and very well priced. It's a very small place with slightly cramped seating both inside and out. But really good food and service

Came here because the line at Sushi Leblon was obscene, but it turned out that Togu was just as bad. The hostess told me it would be a 20-30 minute wait, but I waited for over an hour. The portion sizes were small and overpriced, and the quality of the fish wasn't nearly of the standard of some of its... More

We came for dinner. The food is expensive for Brasilian standards, mains around 60 brl. I had the exotic tasting menu. The first 3 dishes were amazing (salmon tartare, tuna tartare and crispy oyster) but the rest was average. Outstanding was the last roll with quail egg and also the tuna sushi with goose liver. Our friends had just main... More

We had mix starter and the menu degustação. The starter was good but the menu degustaçao was really special. u must like sweet sauces though. Our favourites were tuna with foia Gras and oyster Maki. also the argetinian whine was lovely. We would come back to try the all u can eat sushi menu!

I really love this place. The sushi flavours are amazeballs ( the quail egg and foie gras) and the other dishes are just bang on flavour and the make up of the plate are just pretty. The service is great. Not to be missed in Rio.

A small place in the heart of Dias Ferreira street. Food is very good. I recommend the shitake and the caramelized banana. Staff is friendly but not very efficient. Pick a table outside, right at the sidewalk.

I love Togu! I eat there nearly twice a week for lunch. Food is great. Now the catch is: service is as bad as it gets! The waiters are rude, don't know the menu, get your order messed up every time. This is really disappointing because I love the food and so do my friends. Perhaps try dinner time when... More

We stumbled into Togu after being turned away from hip Sushi Leblon down the street, and couldn't have been more pleased. The young Portuguese maitre d' was extraordinarily charming, friendly and fun, finding a table for us on a busy and crowded Friday night. The staff were all solicitous and engaging, and I liked my shrimp and lychee salad. The... More

Staying in Leblon

Neighborhood Profile
Leblon
In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
