A family friend living in Rio told me this restaurant is where she and her friends go for typical Brazilian food and a great selection of beers. Her recommendation was spot on. The restaurant opened at noon and by 12:15 was packed with locals. We had the Bolinho de Feijoada and the Bolinho de Moqueca which are great Brazilian dishes... More

On the suggestion by the concierge I headed over to Lebron. It was the last day of Carnaval so streets were still busy. I ordered Bolinho de feijoada (fried black beans with beef and pork skin+caipirinha) as an appetizer. This was good, especially with their pepper infused oil). I also ordered the individual Galinhada (chicken drumettes with rice). Very flavorful... More

Nice place with nice staff. Be prepared for a long wait to enter and a long wait for food too. The restaurant has interesting dishes and a very good selection of beer.

Always heard of the place but as an expat, only got the chance to go there on my last holidays to Rio. If you want to experience typical Brazilian snacks, then definetly worth a visit. Bolinho de feijoada was so nice. Very exotic for tourists and good value for money. Great service, friendly waiters. Would go back.

It's a shame, been here a few times and always enjoyed it. But, today we wanted to sit in the garden and were told the garden was closed because it MIGHT rain. We said we were happy to risk it and sat outside. They then refused to serve us outside!!! We went across the road to bar da frente and... More

Most likely a bar with a great food. Good reception, big beers menu, excellent typical Brazilian food! A must go for anyone visiting Rio.

This is definitely one of my favourite bars in Rio. The dishes are mouth-watering and they are typical from Brazil. The beers, on the other hand, are mostly foreign beers - which makes everything even better! Good food, good beer, good atmosphere! Just go there :)

If you want to try authentic Carioca food in authentic Carioca environment, you must visit Aconchego Carioca in Tijuca. Try the bolinho de feijoada (feijoada dumpling) and the pork ribs with guava sauce. It's the best in Rio.
