Great place for food and drinking. Beer menu is amazing. Could stay there for hours. Located at the old part of the city, Praça da Bandeira.

I went here after the men's Olympic semi final. It took me about 30 mins to find the place as I had never been in this neighbourhood and the streets run on diagnols. The wait was over an hour. There is an English menu available. The new location is at 381 Rua Barao de Iguatemi, not 379. I remember the... More

Bolinhos de baroa e carne de sol were very delicious. They are a bit pricey at R$32 and come with 6 pieces but can be shared with others. I shared with two others and enjoyed them. For dinner we shared baião de dois which is a great mix of beans, rice, carne seca,Frango, onions and yuca. Portion is for two... More

A family friend living in Rio told me this restaurant is where she and her friends go for typical Brazilian food and a great selection of beers. Her recommendation was spot on. The restaurant opened at noon and by 12:15 was packed with locals. We had the Bolinho de Feijoada and the Bolinho de Moqueca which are great Brazilian dishes... More

On the suggestion by the concierge I headed over to Lebron. It was the last day of Carnaval so streets were still busy. I ordered Bolinho de feijoada (fried black beans with beef and pork skin+caipirinha) as an appetizer. This was good, especially with their pepper infused oil). I also ordered the individual Galinhada (chicken drumettes with rice). Very flavorful... More

Nice place with nice staff. Be prepared for a long wait to enter and a long wait for food too. The restaurant has interesting dishes and a very good selection of beer.

Always heard of the place but as an expat, only got the chance to go there on my last holidays to Rio. If you want to experience typical Brazilian snacks, then definetly worth a visit. Bolinho de feijoada was so nice. Very exotic for tourists and good value for money. Great service, friendly waiters. Would go back.

It's a shame, been here a few times and always enjoyed it. But, today we wanted to sit in the garden and were told the garden was closed because it MIGHT rain. We said we were happy to risk it and sat outside. They then refused to serve us outside!!! We went across the road to bar da frente and... More
