Fruit flies ruined our meal

I went there with my girlfriend at round about six o'clock. Restaurant looked empty, 2 tables occupied. We ordered grilled cheese and Filet Mignon with French Fries, Rice and beans. While waiting for the food more people entered the place. Unfortunately they got their food earlier than us. After a while we got the cheese and a little later the... More

Came here for dinner looking for some traditional Brazilian food. We weren't disappointed, we had the feijoada and it was quite nice. The service was excellent, English speaking staff with a menu in English as well. Would recommend to others.

Just came back from lunch at Brasileirinho Ipanema, we had picahna, which is a essentially a rump sirloin steak. This is a hard piece of meat to mess up on the grille, but this place managed. The meat was tough excessively fatty and just blah....

Landed here in search of a Brazilian restaurant. The food was rather unimpressive. Maybe my expectations were greater then they should have been. But at the same time, can't say it was bad either. Let me put it this way: for a tourist with limited time, there are better options in the area. Service was ok.

This little restaurant serves feijoada every day of the week, which is handy if you are only in Rio for a short time. Every time we visit Rio (usually at least once every couple of years) we go here for a feijoada, and have yet to be disappointed. The food is good, reasonably priced, and the service friendly. The restaurant... More

Took a client there and it was a poor choice. Serving was definitely small for a dish that was listed as "Special, serves 2". Steak was less than fair and staff was rushing us out. High price, low quality.

I'm so surprised by the negative reviews! I had a really wonderful experience! I ordered the moqueca (a fish stew) and it was delicious. I can close my eyes and imagine drinking the broth, and I wish I could take a gustatory photograph so I could experience the taste over and over again.

The restaurant is very centrally located and nicely decorated in a rustic/fazenda style. We were a group of three and went there for dinner. The service seemed to be ok, not very nice, but as to be expected in such tourist area. The real disappointment was the food. We had a moqueica and a steak, both dishes were of very... More

I'm finishing eating now and the general quality is just OK... Although the place is not full i had to wait 50 min to get served. We ordered a picanha which was too fat for Brazilian standards... So it is a nice location but overpriced for what it is.
