Great food. Cheap Beer, Great Brazilian and other Latin wine collection, English menu. Service can be slow at times but worth the wait.

Since the restaurant was across the street from our hotel and many people were eating there we thought the food would be good, but it was not. It seems that all of their dishes with pasta were baked in a metal bowl and covered with cheese and brown grease.

Like in Italy, generous portions, well sone pasta, esp. Penne arrabiata. Followed by an veltet red wine (Brasillian)' espresso and Grappa all for prices affordable. A very nice place to visit for a lunch or an dinner. Recommended.

Small Italian restaurant about a block off the Copacabana beach. I had the filet parmigiana, my wife had the chicken parmigiana. Mine was delicious, same reported by my wife. Quick, friendly service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Location ok without outdoor seating but this was fine for us because we expect really good food after reading lonely planet recommendation. After ordering, the food arrives after 5 min,we ordered fish and pasta. Fish was not like expected -deep frozen food but taste ok. Noodles have been soft boiled not really tasty ...After testing we would say - save... More

This place was recommended to us but we thought it tacky. It must be us because it's clearly popular. We felt we were being rushed but you might say service was efficient. We really hated the interior as it was so depressing and old fashioned. Our pasta was ok. The Arrabiatta tasted good but looked a funny colour. The special... More

Beautiful place for Italian food in the middle of Copacabana (half a block from the beach). The atmosphere of the place is cute, small but warm. Nicely decorated. The menu is quite extensive and they always have some recommendation from the chef. Very surprised because despite being crowded, they brought the food fairly quickly. The food is tasty and the... Our tour guide recommended La Trattoria as a place that she personally loves -- as a local. We are staying down Avenida Atlantica at the JW Marriott, and it's a short walk (or Uber ride) away. We were amazed with how good the food was - I had a Lasagna Bolognese while my wife had the Bolognese sauce on spaghetti... More

Read a great review on TripAdvisor recommending this restaurant and went as a group of 10. They couldn't have been more accommodating and we quickly got a few tables put together. The food was as promised, delicious and hearty. I had the special Spaghetti with tomato and basil which, as a master stroke of culinary genius, the chef finished cooking... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
