Good food in a nice place with space between tables. Not Noisy for Rio, which is not so unusual. Service could be faster at times.

Recently went back, after a long hiatus, to my favorite seafood restaurant D'Amici. Slightly more formal (white tablecloths) than most fish restaurants, it remains the very best you can get in seafood. We all savored redfish fillets, grilled to perfection, with a medley of vegetables. Our friend had chilean sea-bass with pasta which he enjoyed very much. They serve good... More

I am not one to be overly critical of restaurants in general as I understand how difficult it is to consistently provide great service and inspired creations that justify the prices requested. This restaurant doesn't even make an effort! From the unwelcoming manager to the over staffed (7 patrons and 6 waiters +manager and bartender) inattentive servers. I was a... More

Food was lovely and the choice of wine was even better! I'd say the service could have been slightly better for the price, but other than that I think this restaurant is top notch!

I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant! I had the ostrich carpaccio for my appetizer and veal for dinner. The quality and the flavors were impeccable. I will return to this restaurant when visiting Rio.

This feels like a traditional Italian restaurant with great food and service to match. The food is authentic with some house favourites on the menu too. I like high end and I'm fussy with good food, this satisfied me perfectly.

Yes the menu' has italian dishes, yes the restaurant has an italian name but the oil on the table is from Chile, the bread looks italian (and they charge you for it and that is not very italian...).Mainly the quality of the food and the preparation is certainly not italian. Horrible pasta alle vongole,so salty I had to send it back and... More

This is the go-to special occasion and business meal restaurant in Rio for me and my wife. Excellent white-tablecloth service and high quality Italian food in a refined environment. Extensive wine menu, ranging from the stratosphere to pleasantly affordable. Try the codfish, broccoli and garlic pasta -- may be more of a nod to Portugal than Italy, but it is... More

Our total bill... More

The place is somewhat small, but it feels cozy inside. Staff were very attentive and the wine menu had a lot of variety. Had Garganelli a Boscaiola and Ravioli Funghi e Carne. Both were outstanding, pasta and ingredients were fresh and good quality. A tad expensive, but very much worth the price.
