Good buffet with 4-5 each of meats, salads, and starches. Feels like a locals joint with a lot of sr citizens. Pay by the kilo, with sushi and churrasco extra. Kids 8 and under eat free. Total for lunch buffet for three with bottled water was 126BRL.

I've never been so badly treated at a restaurant before. The food is cold and awful. Probably the worst barbecue of my life. You have better choices in the same neighborhood. Do not go there.

Kind of caster barbecue restaurant that is not good. I live very near this restaurant and i do not recommend you to go. Lots of traps, The stakes are very poor and the food is terrible. I can say that locals dont like this restaurant. Do not go.

The food was good here for this small neighborhood place, price is right and the service was good. The A/C wasn't as cold as I like it and the place is more simple than other chuascarias in the neighborhood but you will pay more money.

I ordered grills and the staff kept bringing the grills. There are plenty of foods at the buffet, but I could sweep the buffet one time. I filled my stomach with lots of grills. Most of the grills tasted salty for me, but tasted good.

There are two areas in this restaurant. one can choose to eat at a by kilo area where you can choose from a selection of salads and hot dishes, or at an all-you-can-eat-buffet style where you can have barbecue. The prices are resonable, which makes it to be a regular choice for locals at lunch break. You just help yourself... More

We rented an apartment right next to this restaurant. We were very happy because the kilo buffet is very cheap and there is a lot of choice. The food was not okay, not bad but not very good either. Our server was very nice though, always smiling!

Ate here twice. I think it depends what time of day you come. It's relatively busy at lunchtime so food is turning fast so it was fresh. Sushi was very fresh and good. Several bodybuilders were in eating plates of sashimi straight from the gym so it must be good. We had 2 enjoyable experiences.

I had some rice, beans and chicken. That was fine (nothing to brag about) but i dared to put like 6 pieces of sushi on my plate- i dared eat one of them because i noticed it was off. Spent the rest of the night puking. Please Please PLEASE do not ruin one of your trip days with this- spend... More

this was about 50 reals so it was mid range of churscaras that i found in brazil. quality was ok and if i came here i wouldn't bother with the per kilo as a lot of the meats looked cold and had been sitting there. better to go the 50 real deal with fresh meat served to your table and... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
