Great food

Typical Brazilian food. Staff spoke English and Portuguese a swell as the menu. Food was quick and it was great, too much to eat for one person. A great find.

We wanted to try the traditional feijoda. We were recommended to this venue and weren't disappointed. The staff were attentive and helpful. The ambience was good and the dishes tasty and interesting. The brewed coffee was good .

I have only had feijoada once and it was at this restaurant but I loved it! I would definitely come back. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The server we had was also very friendly and funny. His English was limited and my Portuguese is nonexistent, but we still were able to communicate and have a nice little chat about... More

We looked for a restaurant to eat with tipical food from brasil. So we decided to go to a Feijoada restaurant. The casa de Feijoada is really nice. Great music (not to loud) great service and even better food. Must go for a tourist.

Good place to try "Feijoada" the national dish of Brazil. It was not really to my taste, but an interesting experience none the less. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has an authentic feel but be warned, it seems a bit of a tourist trap and was really expensive for what is supposed to be a basic Brazilian meal.

This was recommended to us for this traditional Portuguese stew. We do not speak any Portuguese but our waiter spoke English. He took our drink orders and then just started bringing us the stew for 2. That was weird, but while there were other things on the menu it is the dish we wanted to dry. He did ask us... More

We'd heard about feijoada so our tour guide brought us here for a late lunch. Feijoada here is more than just a meal, it's an experience. Really good! Be sure to get their delicious coffee at the end, if nothing more than for the cool coffee maker.

I'm Brazilian living overseas and on my last trip to Brazil I went to Rio de Janeiro with my family on holidays and we went to Casa da Feijoada to enjoy a real Brazilian Feijoada and it was a terrible mistake! A totally tourist trap, very poor customer service and very poor food quality for a very expensive price. If... More
