I'm Brazilian and I tasted a lot of feijoadas, and this one is a regular one. It came with all the asides that normally comes with a feijoada, and it was very good. But the feijoada itself wasn't what I expected, I expected more flavor (it tasted like they burned the bottom of the pan and broth was too thick,... More

The food is good, but it's a tourist trap. Service was nice, but it's extremely overpriced. There are great places out there in Zona Sul for a way better price.

There is a all you can eat dish of feijoada for about 100 BRL which also comes with rice, black beans, manioc (some kind of a very very good fries made of cassava, which is similar to a potato). For the feijoada you choose one kind of meat from a big selection of meats they offer you (most of the... More

Agreed maybe a little touristy but an easy and wonderful way to experience the national dish. The feijoada meal was comprised of many little courses with the majority served family style. It starts off with a cup of delicious black bean soup. You do not go away feeling hungry.7 The feijoada was served with the traditional accompaniments: rice, kale, gators,... More

I had my best meal in Brazil at this restaurant. The waiter recommended the traditional feijoada and that is what we had. From a bean soup, to a cocktail, to fried lard, all delicious

The food was incredible. The service was great. We have the most amazing time in this place. It is really cozy and welcoming. The combination of flavors and sides were just perfect. I would definitely go back. For more of my travel pictures follow me on Instagram @rubidunn

To preface, we are typically not "foodies" when we travel....we eat on a budget and sometimes that may mean potato chips for dinner! BUT, we knew we HAD to have Feijoada in Brazil and Casa da Feijoada did not disappoint. A little hard to find as the facade is somewhat obstructed by a newsstand, but the atmosphere inside is warm... Being our first time in Brazil, we were excited to try Feijoada, and Casa de Feijoada did not disappoint! Be warned, the meal is extremely heavy, which isn't always what you want on an extremely hot summer day in Rio. But, there is air conditioning inside, which definitely helped. If you are looking to try Feijoada, do not look any... More

The restaurant is very small, but the Feijoada is delicious, well made. My favorite was the caudinho. The service is good and plenty food. A little be pricey for such a small place.
