We have been many times to this restaurant, but always in the evening .. while in Rio for the Olympics we decided to try their buffet at lunchtime .. this is por Kilo, the food on your plate is weighed and you pay accordingly .. The food was good and varied and we enjoyed the meal .. but then came... More

Terrible food. We are staying at the Copacabana Palace and wanted something nice and close by and so we decided to try this restaurant. Big mistake. We started off with the Baba. Overly smooth and bitter tasting. Next we had the falafel. Actually not bad. The only good thing of the meal. Then came the grilled lamb and chicken -... More

This restaurant in Rio is a really good option to have Arabian food in Rio. It is a buffet, but with good options of Arabian food in his menu. If you want to try aribian food with good value this is a right place.

Good Middle Eastern buffet across the road from copacabana beach. Good selection of vegetarian options also chicken, beef, lamb and fish. It's a pay by the pound restaurant. Service was average.

Most of the restaurants along Copa look very similar, white tent structures in front of a building. Arab is no different, BUT the food was a brilliant surprise. I've not actually had a bad meal yet in Rio, but the Arab dishes here were good enough that I've been back 3 times. There are lots of options here, but this... More

What has happened during one year? Food was OK but no longer delicious Arabic food. Service has also changed to average Copacabana service level.

We visited this restaurant as it was very close to our hotel, was recommended by TA contributors and the fact that we like the type of food it provides. I am pleased to say we were not disappointed. The freshly baked pitta breads were really nice with the hummus and tzatsiki starters. We followed this up with chicken and apricot... More

We were in Rio for 3 weeks and ate here at least 4 times! The food was so good and fresh. The pita made to order. Hummus so great, Kibbeh to die for. Staff very nice and helpful. A nice change from steak!! Can't wait to go back next trip

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
