What has happened during one year? Food was OK but no longer delicious Arabic food. Service has also changed to average Copacabana service level.

We visited this restaurant as it was very close to our hotel, was recommended by TA contributors and the fact that we like the type of food it provides. I am pleased to say we were not disappointed. The freshly baked pitta breads were really nice with the hummus and tzatsiki starters. We followed this up with chicken and apricot... More

We were in Rio for 3 weeks and ate here at least 4 times! The food was so good and fresh. The pita made to order. Hummus so great, Kibbeh to die for. Staff very nice and helpful. A nice change from steak!! Can't wait to go back next trip

Good food but expensive and in small portions, but the worse is the weird payment policy. The bill can be paid with debit or credit cards, but the 10% tip, almost mandatory in Brazil, only using cash! Never saw anything like that.

Get a cab and ask to drop you past Posto 7. You will walk 2 min to find the restaurant with open verandas facing Lagoon. Then order some freshly prepared appetizers such as the super Mezze platter and good to enjoy the view. Service could be more attentive and the price is not that cheap but it is outweighed by... The restaurant is in a lovely spot, however the service was very poor and we ended up being served random dishes from the menu, at random times. Some portions were huge others too small. The waiter assured me the meat he served me was chicken but tasted/looked more like lamb. All the food we had was nothing special.

Enjoyed lunch buffet while overlooking Copacabana beach. Buffet is priced by the pound. Must try baba ghanoush.

Arab restaurant gives us the chance of trying typical Arabian food. They offer an à la carte menu and also a huge buffet with all kinds of Arabian food. Even the normal expreso comes with cardamomo e the spoon is a piece of cinnamon. The atmosphere is very good. There is room outside for enjoying Atlantica's paseo.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
