The restaurant is in a great location and we were looking forward to our meal here but left very disappointed. The food was distinctly average (and not worth the hype) but the worst aspect of the restaurant was the completely disinterested (bordering on contemptuous) staff...More

The food? Not so much. Several items they didn't have. Bad service and it was not crowded at all. The kingcrab appetizer was soaked in lime but was good. The medallion I ordered was overdone and just not a good taste. My friend ordered 2...More

Enjoyed the scenery and the views here but lacked personal touches. The food was very nice with generous portions. We particularly enjoyed the chocolate cake, it cake with candied nuts which were lovely. The passion fruit caipirinha was really nice. Overall a lovely meal in...More

Despite a very mediocre reception, having reserved by internet, we were well received by the rest of the staff and had a good meal which was well served. Well worth the visit. You may need a taxi to take you up the very steep hill....More

Great view/setting but food was very basic and overpriced. I had a meat and potatoe dish that was literally just that, little flair or added flavour. A shame considering the hype

Took me a while to get here because it’s on the top of Santa Teresa , far from the city, so I highly recommend it for lunch. Beautiful views amazing food. Allow time it’s not a quick bite.

We had heard good things about this place. It's supposed to be special night out in Santa Teresa. The restaurant is in the hills and is designed like a tree house with promised views. Sadly the experience was very disappointing. Despite having booked a table...More

Ate here after a recommendation from Vila Santa Teresa where we were staying. Located in the bohemian and historic Santa Teresa area. The restaurant has lots of separate outside areas all of which have great views. The food was really good and pretty good value....More

We booked here based on the recommendations of TripAdvisor, hotel and local guide. We thought it was good but didn’t knock our socks off. The view is lovely, but aren’t they all in Rio?! The palmiito is wonderful and worthy of a try. The octopus...More

You'll need an Uber / taxi to get there. It's high up on a hillside in Santa Teresa with great views of Guanabara Bay. Good food and good drinks. Tried BBQ heart of palm. Absolutely delicious and vast. This place deserves its reputation. Good place...More

Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local
artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this
neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors
can now stroll through this area to view magnificent
mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th
century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a
former mansion turned museum which houses works by
prominent Brazilian modern artists.
