It’s not easy to find and to get to Aprazivel but well worth the effort. You may be visiting the lovely church of Gloria or be somewhere in Botafogo or Flamengo and from there it’s a short cab drive. You may want to link your...More

Excellent outdoor dining at the top of Santa Teresa. Hard to find , but worth climbing up the hill. Food is absolutely delicious, and great their own produced wine! The view is amazing, especially at sunset.

After several recommendations we booked a table in advance to eat at this restaurant. We arrived at the same time as two other tables and there was a bit of a delay in being seated. Once seated a drinks order was taken and we received...More

Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local
artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this
neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors
can now stroll through this area to view magnificent
mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th
century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a
former mansion turned museum which houses works by
prominent Brazilian modern artists.
