Everything i read was true. The moqueca was amazing, the first one we tried in our trip and one of the best. Too noisy and the place could be cleaner, but all we ate excellent

Very nice small bar/restaurant with attentive service. Staff very helpful with food and wine selections. Steak was superb. Enjoyed the atmosphere so much we hung around for dinner after drinks.

Service is bad. Food and drinks are not great. Guests can be rowdy and rude. But for some insane reason people like this dive bar. Wouldn't bother coming here.

It's a very traditional bar, with the Brazilian food of "boteco " . They are fried food, finger food. It's interesting and the draft beer is very iced, like we love here in Brazil. Find a place and live the Carioca style !

You might have to be standing for a few hours, while you enjoy the draft beer. The waiters are friendly and you can realize that most of the customers are frequents. The environment is friendly and very casual.

The place is tiny and always very full. It is very rustic, noisy and local, but that is what is so attractive. The beers are delicious and cheap and the refill permanent. The waiter marks each refill on your paper table mat. For the bill he just counts the marks. You must have the picana with butter and the fish... More

The steak sandwich was very good and the Portuguese Sardines excellent, some of the best we've ever had. Great authentic Rio bar week with a visit :-)

We stopped in to get an afternoon snack to hold us over for dinner. Sat at a tall table right on the edge of the patio and shared a pizza. It was good, fast and enjoyable.

Staying in Leblon

Neighborhood Profile
In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
