Nicely positioned on the water next to the bridge. Great service from attentive well trained staff. The food was average, the salad could feed a family of six and the stroganoff for two could have fed Four!!! Food was warm not hot, not sure if it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while as we tried to get... More

This is a good restaurant, prices showed for each meals are for 2 hungry people, we were 6 dining with 3 meals and it was too much food. The service was fast and price are OK for the location. All meals were good and the caipirinha awesome. The mocequa might be a bit too salty but the fishes and polvo... More

We ate here for dinner one evening. We were fortunate enough to sit outside by the river and enjoy some delightful octopus (highly recommend). Our waiter was so lovely and helpful, often stopping to chat to us about the restaurant and his hometown in Argentina. What a nice guy and what a nice restaurant!

I wish I could give this pretty restaurant higher marks. Our server was so helpful, the location of the table was perfect, the view so lovely, but the food was not at all up to the caliber of the rest. The portions were so immense that literally 3 people could have split each and every one. And, although well-presented, were... More

Good restaurant if you are looking for seafood! The food was tasty, fresh and enough quantity for 2 people. The location is also excellent close to the river and well-decorated. The staff was helpful and kind.

We went to Dona Ondina on our last night of holiday and had a very enjoyable meal. The food consists pretty standard Brazilian classics - mostly huge portions to be shared by two (or even three?) people. The food was not especially cheap for the type of meal, but good solid stuff, and the service was good and the location... More

We loved the look of this restaurant and initial impressions were good. A charming man who spoke English, a lovely helpful waiter but the primary responsibility of a restaurant is to serve good food and this did not. Octopus was chewy, squid was ok, crab starter only average. Food was luke warm, beans to accompany rice came late, sauté potatoes... More

I absolutely loved the fish we ordered! It was grilled, covered in with brazil nuts and topped with capers. It had such amazing flavor. Loved it!!! We also got shrimp in a catupiry sauce on top of mashed potatoes. The shrimp were quite large, but it was just way too much catupiry cheese for me. If you like it, then... More

I had some local friends telling me how wonderful this place was. So much so that my expectations were kind of high. If you chance to get a table in the varanda, you'll have a lovely view, overlooking the river. Otherwise, the indoors part of the restaurant is pretty plain. The staff was friendly and service was ok. Food was... More
