At his place they brew their own beer, which is very good. The food served is also good, though a bit expensive. Nice outside seating area.

Staff is so lazy we didn't even stay. We were in 5 people, and there were 3 chairs in a free table. They said they had no more chairs, so we could not stay (there were).

Cabore has really good beer - locally brewed. The restaurant has a pretty good variety of food, but we mostly stuck with pub food. The sandwiches and appetizers were great. Definitely worth a visit once you are done with fancy dinners in the historic center.

We've had a good time at the bar. We've tried the Cheese Picanha and the Weiss beer. They were both great choices. Service could be a bit better though! Still worth the visit. According to the waiter, they have planned tours, specially good to go on Saturdays, when they're actually making beer! It's a pit we got too late!

Great beer selections, very nice terrace, tasty food but lazy very lazy staff. Considering that is the Pub/Bar/Restaurant of the NICE Posada Near by they should be more focus in greetings customers, pay attention to what the customer is asking and not just hang around and look lost. It is a pity with such a lovely location and place they... More

We went for chopps (draft beers) as it was close to pousada - great beers - three types - Pilsen, escura, and wheat - all very good - They had Oktoberfest dishes so we stayed for dinner - had ribs, potatoes and kraut - excellent, my wife had a salad - basic greens - not excellent but okay - service... No English tours to this brewery but you muddle through. Go to reception and book a tour. It costs 15 reals and the master brewer shows you the beer. You then exchange your ticket for a 200ml sample of each beer. Nice couple of hours and the beer is good. The dark beer is actually light in taste and very... More

i wound up going to this cervejaria twice during our stay in paraty due to its proximity to our pousada. situated along the river outside of the old town, the building is very open and airy and is a nice place to try some very local draft beer. i like that they offer flights plus different glass sizes, which definitely... We were lucky I'm that the brewmaster was brewing when we were there and he let us in back. Otherwise its mostly set up for food instead of beer. And its expensive. only go Saturday when it's two for one happy hour from 5-9

If you are looking for local brews on draft (chopp) that have more flavor than the typical bottled beers this is the place to be. Next to two different beers (try the black one) on draft served in three sizes, the microbrewery is offering Brazilian appetizers like codfish balls (bolinhos de bacalhau), shrimps over mashed potatoes or large traditional plates...
