Fab!

Went here last night having walked past it the day before and seeing that it looked nice. Arriving we had a very warm welcome. All main menu items are for 2 people. We were recommended the filet mignon which we decided upon. Prices on menu were around r$130 upwards (for 2). The food and cocktails... read more

Food was good but not great, as reviews indicated. We chose seafood cooked on a griddle, should have been sizzling but was just warm. Quality of ingredients is great, but the communication breakdown between kitchen and front of house needs to be addressed for it to be great. Just our experience but warm, oily seafood not great. Idilic spot and... More

we were very disappointed. We paid per person 300 reais only for food except drinks. The food was good but nothing special that deserved this price. I know that other people staying in the same hotel as us had the same disappointment.

The setting on the beach at night was good, but stray dogs snapping at our ankles completely spoiled the evening.Considering this is an expensive restaurant,I thought this was ridiculous and beyond a joke. The owner/manager did not seem too concerned. One is never prepared for such a lack of basic education in Brazil. The food was quite good, but certainly not top standard sirloin.You... More

We had Filet Mignon from the Chef for two. The meat was delicious with very nice sides. We also tried desert with a wonderfull argentino chocolate sweet covered with vanilla ice-cream. Apart from the very good food, there is the view and the service very gentle and nice. We will be back soon !

La Luna (the moon) is a pleasant surprise in Paraty where the owner with her kindness makes you feel at home and delights you with tasty meat cuts and probably the best chimichurry of all South America...

You know when a waiter normally suggests something on the menu to you? And there is always that niggling feeling from the chimp inside suggesting they have an alternative motive for doing so - like they've got some food going off that they need to shift or the chef is sick to death of cooking the same old dishes...! Well... More

The food at this beach-front restaurant was divine and, dare I say it, orgasmic beyond belief! My friend and I had a fish and seafood platter to share, with fondant potatoes and rice, coupled with two free caipirinhas. The fish was perfectly grilled and melted in the mouth, as were the fondant potatoes. I am yet to decide whether it... More

We had a really nice dinner. A lot of choices, me and my girlfriend got a fish dish to share and the cooking was just perfect! The staff took care of us perfectly and were helping us talking in Portuguese! :) Really class place.
