Very good variety of salads, fresh veggies, hot bar w/2-3 meat dishes, fish, rice, 2 types of beans, delicious mash potatoes. Service was good. Dessert and drinks are extra.

Fresh & large variety of food, prepared to perfection. Great presentation. From your topical Brazilian rice , beans, meet to gourmet salads, stews, pasta, meats and fish. Clean and large Restuarant, and the service was very friendly. Highly recommend if you are in a hurry and want great food by the weight.

Nice kilo-style buffet, with lots of vegetarian options if that is what is needed. (Good meat options too.) But the atmosphere is lacking a bit of refinement, can't be compared to most Rua das Pedras restaurants.

I've been to banana land a couple of times before. The food and service are always amazing. Last time I was with my pets and we got a table outside. The waiter was really thoughtful and friendly towards my little ones.

BanalaLand is a refined kilo restaurant, with imaginative salads, dishes and desserts. One often is surprised by the variety and quality of the alternatives. A very interesting characteristic is the calm and instructive explanation/description one gets from the staff about the available dishes before making the choices.

We were here twice and first time it was all fine, but after the second visit we didn't feel well for the rest of the day.

Definitely the food is much better than any other "per kilo" restaurant. But R$ 78,50 per kilo is too expensive. You will find "la carte" restaurants at the same price.

Food was very good and tasty. Everything is fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly. A little pricey but worth trying!

Thiis is a bufett, by the kilo, self service restaurant. This is very common in Brasil. Bananland stands out by the very good quality of the food on offer. The dishes are well prepared, original and (very important to me) with a distinct soth american/brazilan touch - as a tourist visiting the country and Buzios its a must. Most of... More
