Best fresh food around. They've had the business for over 20 years! Family business. Fresh food juices of all kinds! Highly recommend!

Great choice of juices and sandwiches, including vegetarian options, and friendly, helpful service. Ideal for a midday snack in town.

First of all, I don't know where they got the picture for the place here on Tripadvisor; this is just a cafe on Ave. Brasil, so there's no beach or palm tress there. Barbarella is a basic lunch place where you can get sandwiches and...juices and the like for a very reasonable price. The paninis were particularly good, but everything is a good value. The three of us had a reasonable lunch there for US$10. The waitstaff also spoke passable English, which is great because after a long flight to Brazil my Portuguese was non-existent.More

My wife and I were recommended this place for lunch. Together with our guide we had 3 different fruit juices, - the list available is extensive, and 3 large baguettes for $20. The baguettes had plenty of filling and was more than substantial for lunch....The bread is also good and made a change form the rest of the places we had visited in South America. Although the restaurant is fairly sparsely furnished, it is clean, the toilets and wash areas are clean and from what we could see the Kitchen was also very clean. A good place to eat - thoroughly recommended.More
