Great place to eating, the food choices & food were exceptional. I would definitely go back again the next time we are in town.

This is an amazing campground! It has full hook up and right on the caldron falls flowage! You can leave the campground by UTV and they welcome golf carts throughout! They are all seasonal sites so no in and outs! The campground is family friendly...and has been in business for over 6 years. The sites are big and they allow decks and storage sheds! The owner did an amazing job building this campground and with the help of friends it is well maintained and ran! If you’re ever looking for seasonal spot check this place out! You won’t be disappointed and they have two spots still available!More
If I could give zero starts that would have been the rating. I would absolutely NOT recommend camping here. The owner has no idea what happens and allows the manager to run wild. The written contract rules don’t really matter because they aren’t enforced and...rules that you’ve never heard of are. The amount of gossip and drama is worse than high school, and this too stems from the campground manager. The kids ‘jungle gym’ is a death trap and after our three years there it was evident the owner doesn’t have any interest in improving the campground. STAY AWAY!More
I recently was camping on Caldron Falls at the Governor Thompson State Park boat in only campsites and we visited Fisher's every night we stayed. They're staff and food was great and on Saturdays they have live music that is a really fun group to...revel with. My dog also ran away while we were camping and Deb, Evan and Augie couldn't have been more help. They lent us life jackets, boated us over to and from the campsites and put up a flier for us in the bar. They were super concerned and did everything they could to help. Great place to hang out and I will definitely be back.More
My wife and 4 year old stayed for the first time in the Crivitz area over Memorial Day weekend. We had found a Peshtigo riverside condo for rent between Caldron Falls and High Falls and this afforded me the opportunity to fish and kayak. We...do not know the area at all and really hadn't researched much prior to the journey from Waukesha. If I was going to fish, my end of the deal was to ensure my wife and son ate. Certainly no one was fooled or had the confidence that my fishing skills would meet those needs (and they were certainly right), so we needed to find locations that met basic and not-so-basic needs: we enjoy tasty food. Fisher's Camp Resort was recommended to us by a longtime friend we somehow (what are the odds) ran into at some backwoods gas station while roaming the area. This friend knows the area and she certainly knows food. OK, I'll cut to the chase. The environment is like a northwoods pub. Because it is one. It has plenty of tables for dining. The bloody mary was great. The deep fried breadsticks (recommended to us) were fantastic. I had a bowl of chili, lovingly referred to as Chili Chadwick after the cook (and I think owner). It was phenomenal. If you have ever had Chili Johns, this chili is very similar in consistency, taste and texture. I also had the slow roasted corned beed brisket. Amazing. The family had more of the same and a grilled cheese. It was the best meal we had the entire trip, and really one of the tastiest we have had in quite a while. We repeatedly thanked the cook multiple times (he came out several times to check on us). Great, delicious food in a relaxed, rustic environment served by good, kind people. I will take that over a multitude of high end Milwaukee restaurants. Thank you Fisher's Camp Resort.More
