As people who love taco pizza, we ordered takeout from here based on the positive reviews. We had regular pizza from here before and it was excellent. This time we were going taco. Pizza looked great upon pickup. When we got it back to the...hotel less than 5 minutes later and started to dig in, we found the crust soggy hard to scoop up. The pizza had great flavor, but it was clearly under cooked and just a big puddle in the middle. We expected so much more based on the reviews but this fell flat. Sorry, I cannot recommend the taco pizza here.More

Our waitress was very attentive taking our drink order right away then returning taking our pizza order. We had the Frankie's "Special". The pizza was very good, but a little greasy. What I didn't like is I order a fountain soda drink. I asked for...a refill and the waitress said I'd have to pay for refills. The only reason I don't rate this at the highest rating!!More

We wanted to go out to dinner after arriving at our hotel, but it seems all the restaurants in Ashland are closed. We were actually surprised to see this considering how busy Bayfield was earlier in the day. Our hotel front desk suggested we order...from this place for delivery instead. We called at 5:30 to order pizza for delivery to our hotel. They said it would be 2 hours, and reluctantly placed an order since we didn't really have any other options. After 2 1/2 hours we called again and they said they would be there shortly. We gave them another 30 minutes, but after that all we could get was their answering machine saying they were closed for the evening. To say it was a terrible experience is putting it lightly. I get that they were probably short-staffed but just don't take the order instead of making us wait 4 hours and then have to find something else. We did eventually get pizza delivered from Pizza Pub at 10:00. Personally, I would avoid Ashland entirely - we were warned to avoid staying in this town by friends but it was a last-minute trip and we didn't have many options.More

The good. Our pizza a 10 inch special with stuffed crust was excellent. Cooked to perfection with a crackled crust just the right amount of sauce , cheese and seasonings. The bad-atmosphere-none: decor-none: service-awful. Go for the food husband and I recommend it, or take-out...is available.More

We had "The Works" pizza, and were not disappointed! Plenty left to bring home. Service was friendly and fast.

We spent a few nights in Ashland and the restaurant scene was quite depressing (many closed permanently), but Frankie's was open and hopping! We got the stuffed crust pizza and it was tasty and big! The dining room is outdated, but in a nostalgic childhood/up...north way. Good luck using the bathroom here - I am a thin person and could not sit on the toilet properly since the front is about 3 inches from the wall...lol.More

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Started out with the garlic bread which was perfect. Not greasy or too garlicy, just right. The BBQ pizza was very good. The dining area itself was a bit outdated. All in all, would recommend.

We ordered pizza to be delivered. It came right on time. It was some of the best pizza I've had. The stuffed crust was amazing along with cheese bread, onion rings and lots of topping pizza.

This place did not disappoint. Great tasting pizza. Staff was so nice and they a very quick. 10" pizzas seem way bigger!!

We did carryout due to Covid, and when we pulled up we thought they might be closed -- but they had our pizza ready for us and we took it back to our hotel. Delicious!!! This is some of the best pizza I've had in...years! The flavors were so good, and the toppings generous. I wish they would open a location in my town!!More

This pizza place delivers and was recommended to us. It did not disappoint. We ordered a special which had double crust, double sauce and double cheese. It was filled with wonderful toppings that were quite tasty. We ordered a size up from our normal 12...inch, and were able to share leftovers with friends.More
