Excellent regional food, a bit expensive and portions a bit small. If you are hungry I do not recommend it.

I chose the buffet, which comes out to 70 Brazilian Reals per person when you include the tip. The food was all flavorful and delicious. I had beef and various types of fish, all of which were well prepared. The flan was perfectly to my taste, which was a pleasant surprise. One downside is that they ran out of several... More

This a well known restaurant in Belem. The service is ok but the food could be better. The only option is american buffet (self service) and no typical dessert included (only creamy cakes). The traditional dishes from Para were ok but nothing outstanding as you could wait paying no cheap for it.

Food is really delicious and you can try all paraenses dishes. But service could be better especially at weekends.

We were looking for a typical meal served in Belem: duck cooked on tucupi broth. Tucupi is a juice produced from manioc roots. It was wonderful. Very typical since I knew the dish previously. The service was very good too. We also ordered grab meat with manioc flower. Also very good.

Unusual, that is, if you're not from Parà. This restaurant was the first to serve local food prepared with international quality standards, and then to use local ingredients, including leaves that make your tongue tremble and other mysterious ingredients from the Amazon forest, in creative recipes or unusual combinations. Still today a great place tu surprise your taste buds

The restaurant history is interesting. The food quality and prices not. We ordered a mix of typical food from Para and Belem: crab, duck, fish and other local food. None of them tasted delicious, maximum average. Portions were on the small size as well, even though the price was fairly expensive (a dish for 2 costs around 120 reais). Overall,... More

"Lá em Casa" has been famous for many years as one of the best restaurants of Belém. And it still is! Its new address at charming "Estação das Docas", the former warehouses of Belém's old port - totally renovated and air-conditioned, adds awesome views of Guajará Bay and its sunsets to any meal. Lunch buffet offers a fantastic variety of... More
