The food was cold at 13:30h and the service is not the best in the city. There are better options. The classification here at Trip Advisor is not adequate. I know what I'm talking about because I come from MG and born nearby.

Typical food of Minas Gerais and located right next to the Pousada I was. There variety of food was ok - but everything on offer was tasty.

Very nice place. Great taste and plenty of food. Typical Minas Gerais dishes including the desserts. Friendly staff. Definitely Worth it.

My group of 9 people (1 from Florida and 8 from Arizona) had lunch there recently. It has a wide selection of entre dishes as well as deserts. It is buffet style and everything on the menu is top-notch local flavor. You will enjoy the selection, the atmosphere, the quick service (drinks, new plates, etc) and the location is near... More

Buffet style restaurant. I especially like their pork skin. It seems to be the norm for the Brazilian buffet restaurants to charge kids as adults unless you object. They just did not seem to want to bother with it unless you check your bill and object.

Exceeded my expectations! The food is great, the service was fantastic and the place is historical. The dessert table had a nice variety of typical mineiro sweets. And they also offer a taste of cachaça as appetizer at the beginning of your meal. Enjoy!!!

Great variety of local food. Excellent local brewed beer. The waiter was nice and polite. All you can eat style for less than R$ 50,00, which is a great deal if you're hungry or just want to enjoy plenty of good Brazilian food.

Buffet style at a reasonable price in a nice historical building. The food is average but with lots of choices and the buffet is not that expensive. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere too. So a good choice for lunch after walking up and down in Ouro Preto.

Stopped at this restaurant after doing an extensive tour of the very historic town of Oura Preto. This was a buffet lunch of typical Brazilian food served on a Saturday. This was mostly meat but I enjoyed the vegetables, fried eggs and pasta. Good service with good waiters. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
