I can only say that the service is terrible there. Nothing else, because we didn't stay any longer. I lived in Ouro Preto for 6 years and always heard opinions of boht sides, nice and bad place. But the only time I had the oportunity to go there, it wasn't very nice. I took my family there but in 25... More

Go there for lunch, have the local meals for 2. It's delicious. The service was outstanding and so was the decor of the establishment.

Sitting on the second floor of this fantastically located restaurant we we surrounded by views of the mountains and valleys around us. The decor, the service, and most of all the food was amazing, large portions reasonably priced for a restaurant of this top quality, you must dine there!

We went to this restaurant attracted by the famous 'feijao tropeiro' that was suggested on trip advisor. Just to discover that it is not prepared after 5 pm. The same is true for other regional specialty. So we were left with a rather touristic menu for dinner. The dishes were ok. Not a lot of care in presenting them and... More

Beautiful airy restaurant with an inexpensive menu a few blocks from Praca Tiradentes. The views from some windows are stunning.

Great local dishes! Feijao tropeiro was unbelievable. Good wine list. Jaw dropping city views. It was really crowded. I had to wait a while... Maybe make a reservation?

This lovely restaurant is just off the back of the stone carvers market and opens for lunch and dinner. Sit upstairs and feel the breeze through all the open windows as you enjoy a fine soup, salad or full meal with a yummy bottle of wine, served on white linen by uniformed waiters. It's a bit pricey but that's ok.... More

If you want good food and you're not in a hurry, this is the place to be. Food is tasty and well prepared, unlike this place's service. Although I would highly recommend this restaurant for typical "mineiro" food, it is important to point out that you must be patient. It took a lot of waving and calling out the waiters... More

This was by far the most expensive meal I had in Brazil. The restaurant is very nice inside and offers good service. The food was alright, however the prices are very high and I got better food for less money in plenty of other restaurants in town.
