Benê was a worker of the Central Railway of Brazil that used to animate the winter festivals playing flute - the ones made by himself with bamboos. Now, is an awesome restaurant with great menu, fair prices, near Tiradentes square, side by side to soapstone handicraft fair. The building itself is fantastic. Amazing. In the menu, you can find fine... More

Great menu, awesome building and fair prices. It's a few steps from the Tiradentes Square, right beside São Francisco church.

Restaurant is well located and has a beautiful view of Ouro Preto at sunset having the sunlight fading away and a myriad of lights turning on one after another across the hills. Interiors are pretty and staff is very attentive. We had dinner with our 2 children even though the restaurant atmosphere is more suited for couples and lovely dates.... More

This is restaurant is a must to go for a lunch in Ouro Preto. We had a "feijão tropeiro", which is beans, manioc flower, pork, sausage, collar green, an egg and rice. One plate was enough for me, my wife, my 12 year old and my six year old, and the food was VERY GOOD. Besides that, the restaurant is... More

Good was over priced and average quality. I ordered the lamb chops most expensive in menu and definitely not cooked properly or tasty.. Good location and friendly staff

Very good food, small portions, quite expensive. Tilapia was good. Pears had too much alcohol in the wine concoction...

I can only say that the service is terrible there. Nothing else, because we didn't stay any longer. I lived in Ouro Preto for 6 years and always heard opinions of boht sides, nice and bad place. But the only time I had the oportunity to go there, it wasn't very nice. I took my family there but in 25... More

Go there for lunch, have the local meals for 2. It's delicious. The service was outstanding and so was the decor of the establishment.

Sitting on the second floor of this fantastically located restaurant we we surrounded by views of the mountains and valleys around us. The decor, the service, and most of all the food was amazing, large portions reasonably priced for a restaurant of this top quality, you must dine there!

We went to this restaurant attracted by the famous 'feijao tropeiro' that was suggested on trip advisor. Just to discover that it is not prepared after 5 pm. The same is true for other regional specialty. So we were left with a rather touristic menu for dinner. The dishes were ok. Not a lot of care in presenting them and... More
