This restaurant is good but it has been better in the beginning, around 5 years ago. There are different kinds of food - international menu or dishes to share and have drinks with a couple of friends. The cocktails are delicious and the place is...comfortable. Good service and spacious restrooms. There is a parking lot for customers and a little playground for the kids.More

The place is nice, very good food, quick ans friendly service. The have a decent wine list, a nice atmosphere and prices are not outrageous. There is a pokestop in the restaurant, if you are into it. Choose a table near the water fountain, eat...well and load up o Pokeballs :)More

Great food and fair prices! Service was excellent and staff made sure all our needs were met. Also located very close to the soccer stadium so it's a perfect place to eat before heading to the game.

La Palma offers a different style of executive menu, one that's worth trying. You choose a main dish (basically your choice of animal protein) and they serve the side dishes fresh in a "rodizio" like style. The difference from just going to a standard "all...you can eat" buffet? The food is always 100% fresh. The side dishes are prepared in small portions and served hot directly to your plate, in the quantity you ask for. They're all delicious, as much as the meat or fish themselves, and you are guaranteed to have a nice treat any day of the week (it only functions like this in weekdays). Bottom line: food is fresh, very tasty and diverse. Great stuff. The standard menu is also very good.More

A bit more refined than the day trip crowd from the marina. Very nice but my spaghetti with clams were too fishy. Pretty room. Would return.

We had five business leaders coming from different states to get together for dinner. Each one asked and enjoyed a different meal but the dessert was unanimous chosen: the creme brulee with orange strips. Not many choices of wine. The place is very clean and...spacious, has its own garage at the back.More

Trip advisor review of La Palma pizzeria, osteria & cervejaria Located in Belo Horizonte, MG Brazil Address: Rua Professor Jerson Martins, 146 Bairro Aeroporto belo Horizonte, MG Tel: 31-3441-4455 The establishment has great decor with an outside area next to a fake waterfall but done...quite tastefully. The lunch "executive" menu has some interesting dishes, including flounder filet, deboned baby rooster, grilled chicken breast among others. The system works like this: You pick you main dish and you have several kinds of sauces to choose from that come in small ceramic mugs. When your dish arrives, the waiter staff starts coming by with various side orders and you can choose as many and as much as you want. I found that there were so many of the sides offered and they come by one by one, that they interrupter our meal and business meeting. I said that they should have the green and red buttons like we used in churrascarias rodizios to tell the waiters to pause in the constant meat offers. One of the sides that I tried was a vegetable lasagna and it was very good. The galeto ( baby rooster) was cooked to perfection. After our meal the manager named Rildo came over to our table and asked for our opinions. My colleague who is a great fan of Trip Advisor told Rildo that I write reviews for TA and told him to be on the lookout for my review. We were honest when we told him that the restaurant had close to ( if not more) twenty employees and probably not that many customers, but the executive lunch (designed for executives that need to eat lunch quickly to get back to work) took longer to serve than is reasonable and we had to ask when our food was going to be served on two occasions. The manager was very appreciative and thanked us for our comments. My colleague told me that La Palma is owned by Ivo Faria who is well known in BH for his other upscale restaurant. I will return to this fine restaurant during my next visit to Belo Horizonte. BTW I almost never give a five star rating because this takes away the incentive to improve!More
