Since 2011, after a student recommended we try Saborella’s unique tapioca and pistachio ice cream flavors, we have always driven about 40km, from Gama to Asa Norte, to taste such concoctions. Unfortunately, when our baby boy turned one, we went to Casa Park’s branch and,...believe it or not, we were invisible to the waitress and the waiter who were serving the tables that Sunday afternoon. I say “invisible” because we sat at a table and none of them came to talk to us for more than 20 minutes. What’s more, they stared at us but did not make a move. Had I not talked to the manager, we would have never been served that day. Years went by, and we kept going there from time to time because those flavors and the quality of their ice cream are worth every mile. Unfortunately, today, August 1st, at about 4 pm, we had another episode of invisibility. To make matters worse, we were with our two kids, the oldest one who’s going to turn 9 tomorrow, and our baby daughter who’s only one year old. I say it because we sat at a table at their Asa Norte branch, and the waitress simply ignored us for more than ten minutes. Eventually, I headed to the cashier and placed my order, and took a moment to ask her if the tables were being served. To my surprise, she said they were and I told her that I doubted that since I had been waiting all that time and the waitress, who had seen us arrive, did not even talk to us, but stared at us just like those two from the horrendous episode of 2012 at their Casa Park’s branch. Then the cashier tried to excuse the waitress's attitude by saying that she was the only one serving the tables this afternoon, which did not make any sense since there was another group of people who arrived after us and were being served by her. Anyways, I paid my bill with my debit card and the cashier offered to serve our order at our table. I agreed on that and tried to rethink everything I had experienced. But I wondered why such things happen at an ice cream shop if I am well served at most of the top restaurants in town. Thus, here’s my advice, go straight to the cashier and place your order because if you don’t do so you might turn into invisible customers in the blink of a server’s eye.More

Nice atmosphere but a bit noisy. When I went to the restaurant it was rated #1 in Sao Paulo. The food, wine and wait staff were good but far from the best in Sao Paulo

Last weekend, I visited Saborella ice cream shop once again. If you know it, you'll want to go back! In addition to the fantastic ice cream prepared with selected ingredients and exotic fruits from Pará (açaí, cupuaçu, bacuri, nuts from Pará), combined with traditional flavors,...the place also serves typical food from Pará cuisine (Duck in tucupi, tacacá and other broths). I found that the success of the ice cream is in the research that one of the owner did in the best Italian ice cream shops, and also comes from the eyes and hands of the owners Bruno and Savio who participate daily in the production, along with the clan members. The success of typical food comes from the origin of the Ksam family, born in Pará. Prices are not expensive because the quality is higher than other ice cream shops in the city. The average price of ice cream is 20 reais and of the typical foods is 35 reais. The staff are very trained and polite. The place is very nice! Congratulations! I will be back for sure!More

Enjoying ice-cream is usually associated with eating it on foot Saborella has good sitting facilities with tables for parties in a relatively shady neighbourhood . A good coffee makes the difference afterwards. The flavours available will be suitable for homesick tourists of anglo-saxon extraction.

Special gellatos with some unique flavored ones like tapioca - star of the house - and others from the north of Brasil. Others ice cream shops come and go in Brasília, but Saborella always is the number one.

Definitely the best ice-cream in Brasilia. Try pistachio and "tapioca", they´re the best flavours. But the chocolate one is also very good, if you choose the darker.

Ice cream is good, for sure, but you should take it home. The place is too small, too busy and the tables are outside just on the pedestrian way. Service is unkind and the ice cream is really, really expensive. Doesn't pay off.

Best ice cream in Brasília. Don't miss it! The place is located on the back part of the Commercial Area.
