A traditional restaurant in Brasilia, Dom Francisco offers a varied menu of Brazilian food. Excellent salads, fish and meat dishes. Ingredients carefully selected, everything very tasty. The same can be said of the other branches of the same restaurant in town. Warning: not to be confused with another restaurant with a similar name, "Francisco". "Dom Francisco" is a split-off of... This restaurant has a lot of history with the city, I've been to it in the last 10 years. Unfortunately, was a better place in the old days. Still have good food, the service is all good, but the cost still keeps the price of old days when the service and food were better. One big pro: The wine list... More

Traditional restaurant in brasilia, famous for its codfish (salty codfish, not fresh). The decoration is very simple, but the food is good. Also, try the steak (picanha). Most of guest are there for business, and common to see several politicians there. Good food but seems that is "getting old". I like it anyway.

I visited for lunch. The restaurant opens at 12:00 exactly. I orderd "bife de chorizo". I ate same menu at other restaurants several times until now. But, taste of this Francisco is not unforgettable. Besides, farofa, brocolli rice, potato with garlic grilled are very delicious. There are many clients only saturday lunch. The staffs were also very kind.

Francisco is very traditional in Brasilia, main dishes as based on bacallao (bacalhau), but you should not miss Tambaqui ribs (Amazonian fish). If you are staying at SHN (Setor Hoteleiro Norte), you are walking distance from a branch located at Metropolitan flat/hotel.

The restaurant at the lake (near to Pier 21) has a very nice view as it is positioned in the very board and even over the lake. The food is very good, although not that cheap. Service is impecable, so worth a visit.

Traditional restaurant, old school service. Try the broccoli rice, manioc flour with eggs and picanha beef cut. The house salad is also excellent.

This is a must go restaurant!. The environment is very pleasant, food is always fantastic and Dom Francisco, himself, is a perfect maitre, very proud of his high quality ingredients! Service is also a must.

On two occasions, without any other recommendation, we risked a shot in the dark with Don Francisco. On each occasion we found it overpriced and serving food of poor quality, and whilst the waiting staff could not be criticised, we will not be returning.

Every once in a while I go there for the Picanha, farofa and broccoli rice, super! The cod fish is excellent.
