My husband and I stopped in for some drinks and quiet time and then decided on dinner and just loved it. It was a very special evening and we will be back

Dining at Rye is a unique experience. The lighting and the music set a comfortable tone that immediately takes you in. The food is spectacular, sockeye salmon is exceptional. Everything is homemade here, bread is baked to perfection. The servers are very friendly and engaging,...More

Located just off the lobby of the Copper Leaf hotel, this is a great oasis in the middle of College Street. The food is wonderful. We had the lobster roll and the sesame chicken salad. Both tasted great although the lobster roll looked gigantic but...More

I was much impressed by Rye. The food was fantastic and I ended up eating far more than I had planned for. The main dish - chicken piccata- was delicious, so much so that I stayed for dessert. The bartender recommended a donut made with...More

Wanted so badly to like this restaurant. I was sure this would be the exception to SE Wisconsin's marginal dining experience. But no. Salmon was overcooked and inedible. After sending it back, no acknowledgement by the wait staff of the poor preparation. And the Old...More

Rye has some interesting and imaginative items on their menu which include small, medium and large plates. I ordered the New England style lobster roll from the medium plate selection. The menu stated that it came with a New England roll and Rye's fries. When...More

Oysters were great. Loved the goat cheese curds as well. The main entrees were overpriced for a small town venue. I rarely pay that price in Chicago for a similar meal. Good quality, but not at the price point. Overall, recommend.

Steak ordered medium. Delivered---after a long wait--well done. Waiter disagreed it was well done. Talks to chef. Now they agreed. Tried again. Now rare. Still wrong. It's been two hours. Worthless fools. I'll go to Lombardi 's next time. At least I won't be insulted...More
