My wife, son, and I went to Marc's for dinner based on TripAdvisor high rating. Restaurant is nice and server was very good. The food was a different story. We ordered 2 appetizers, sour kraut balls and calamari. The Calamari was undercooked and chewy. My wife had prime rib and it was overcooked (she ordered medium rare) and somewhat dry with... More

Black forest schnitzel with corn chowder, spaetzel, and sauerkraut alongside Mark's Porter... An excellent dinner; we'll be back.

This is one of the most popular super clubs in the Appleton area. Excellent food and a very friendly staff. We have never been disappointed with this restaurant.

Simply the most delightful of all au jus around. Only the slightest being Georges steak house on the other side of town. The environment is intimate and the neighborhood is quaint. An absolute for a date night. 4.4/5

One of my family's favorite places for dinner and lunch. Mark and Lori Dougherty, owners of Mark's, truly know how to create an experience that you remember; from the food to the service. Everything is always fantastic. The people in the bar, especially Cassie, know how to make patrons feel welcome and remembered. Their drinks are top notch and always... More

German food at its finest! Make sure you try the liver dumpling soup because you will be amazed! The fish fry is great too. If going on a Friday be sure to plan on a couple of drinks at the bar while you wait for a table or get there by 4:30 pm.

I worked here when it was called Chef Bill's. Their son Mark now owns the place and is doing a great job. I really liked the new areas for dinning and cocktails. The drinks were very good and so was the service. I ordered a German dish and was pleased, others in our party got steaks that were cooked to... More

I am absolutely spoiled from eating tenderloin ever again unless I return to Mark's. This was the BEST tenderloin. It was a special the night I was there, it has a German name I cannot remember. There was a bread crust coating that was phenomenal! If I ever have the good fortune to visit Appleton again you can be assured... More
