Fantastic food and great service! Marks has never disappointed me or my clients. The sauerkraut balls are a hit as well as the Scotch egg. Steaks are hand cut, fish is always fresh. And they have great soups as well as a awesome wedge salad....The bar does a great job with drinks. And my clients always want desert! I come here when I’m in town with clients and it has always been a hit.More

Haven’t eaten here in about 25 years because we moved. Visited with the kids and it was still as good as ever. A Wisconsin gem. Thank you!

The staff and food are amazing. Nice atmosphere. We cannot say enough about how the food and service are; not sure that I have had much better. We certainly enjoyed our time at the restaurant and will return.

Very nice atmosphere and the fish dinners were exceptionallly pleasing to everyone in our group . We all could understand why the restaurant is always busy, no matter the time of day.

Late lunch or early dinner, call it what you want, but this place keeps pace all day long! I started with a delicious mushroom beef-broth soup served with warm, crusty rolls and partner had a salad with warm bacon dressing. He loved it! The melt-in-your...mouth crab cakes, the main entrees, were served with a creamy white sauce with a hint of horseradish, a perfect compliment to the rich flavorful crab. Roasted vegetables rounded out the meal. Our server, Sarah, was extremely attentive and helpful describing the different selections on the menu. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Appleton.More

My wife and I went here on a Monday Night. They say they specialize in German cuisine and maybe I should have went that way. However I decided to go with the Steak Sandwich. The one thing I liked about it, is they put a...lot of provolone on it so that it is melting out of the bun. Now the bun I did not like. It was to soft and absorbed to much juice and was falling apart after the first bite. Our server, Shea, did a good job.More

My husband and I always think about going to supper on Friday nights for fish fry. But we usually think about it too late, and they're always super busy! Go figure! They've ALWAYS got great food! Anyway, we went early right after my husband got...off from work. My husband ordered the fish fry, and I ordered shrimp. I was SO happy we went! Service was GREAT! Food was piping hot and delicious! What can I say? Another SUPERB dinner! Thanks again! See you in a few weeks!More

This is truly a wonderful place! We threw our office Christmas party and it was amazing! Rhoda helped us seamlessly plan it. The food and service were incredible. I also take customers there and they are so impressed with the food and service. Personally, it...is our family favorite too. Thank You to Mark, Rhoda and everyone who always make it a perfect lunch or dinner!More

We've eaten there twice and the food was fantastic both times. Meat was very tender and full of flavor. The service is great too.

We have many things on the Gluten free menu. We have a deep fryer just for fried items and have researched all the sub items that are NOT gluten free. So just about the entire menus is available to you. Thanks Mark
