This is an old fashioned supper club type restaurant. We had the fisherman's platter which contained a variety of seafood choices. I had Frog legs, which I haven't had for a while. Both dishes were very good. The service was good for a busy Friday night fish fry. We only had to wait for 35 minutes to be seated after... More

Your greeted immediately with a warm smiling person. You have a great Old Fashion at the bar while being mesmerized by the beautiful fish tank behind the bar. (they do muddle their old fashions too) Bonus!!! Order anything, anything, It will be wonderful. I love the hot bacon dressing, the German food is the best around. I am a beef... More

Love the German selection for a casual restaurant. Food is always good . Their Friday Fish fry never disappoints. Arrive early on a Friday night!

It's always nice to find a restaurant with gluten free options! Marks has a dedicated fryer for gluten free. I ordered everything deep fried for dinner because I don't ever order deep fried anything!! I had onion rings, shrimp and for dessert, a meringue torte! Yum! It was great! They have several gluten free options, not all fried! Everything I've... More

The German style food is very good, but there are many other options. We were able to sample/share several appetizers. We wee also able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed.

For years this was a personal favorite. Since a Major remodeling They have reduced portions & services, raised prices and quality. Some local favorites retained the old quality, like German Scotch Eggs, however the healthy small portion grilled items are gone.To make things worse the dinning room after 7:30 is taken over by the loud, obnoxious, boorish happy hour crowd,... I went there recently with my granddaughter. We both had the Chicken Caesar Wrap and we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It was very busy that particular lunch hour and yet we got excellent service in their warm, casual atmosphere. Their lunch specials are also salads, sandwiches, steakburgers, etc; their dinner house specialties are Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken A la... More

Excellent food and service. Always the same and friendly staff to welcome us. Varied menu with good German selections. We seem to meet friend and neighbors every time we dine there. It is without a doubt the best place to enjoy food in Appleton. Compares to big city experience with their profession staff and huge following.

This fine dining establishment has been in the area for many, many years! It's a family-owned business and the owner (Mark) cares very deeply about his customers and the quality of food that they are served. My friend and I arrived at 5:30 on a Friday evening. It's quite apparent how popular this supper club is because the parking lot... More
