Silvana has one of the greatest atmospheres in the Quadrado, great sofa chairs and intimate lighting. The Baiao de Dois was perfect and we couldn't stop having the caipirinhas with awesome fruits combination, the best was mango with lemon, a must! The service is friendly without being intrusive.

We have been to Trancoso numerous times and Silvana is a must in our rotation of restaurants. We had our wedding in Trancoso and during the free night everyone ended up at Silvana. They all fell in love with the moqueca. The portions are very large so I recommend one order per 2-3 people. If you are looking for another... More

As suggested from the owner of the Pousada where we stayed (Som do mar), here you can find the best moquecas. We ate the one with shrimps, camarao, really tasting and well done. Waiters were very fast and kind with us and the atmosphere is amazing. You cant miss it if you are in Trancoso!

This restaurant has friendly service, charming decor, and is located in the heart of the Quadrado. On this particular day we wanted to have some steak. Their filé mignon was really delicious. I really recommend this one!

In the Quadrado square, lighted with candles, very tasty creole food at reasonable prices. Tables set under a huge tree decorated with lanterns. Very romantic atmosphere.

ate at a number of the resteraunts on the quadardo and I thought this served the best mouqueca! Good prices given location and reasonable service.

The shrimp rizotto is terrible! I really don't recommend. Just avoid going there. Only the atmosphere is good. It's cheaper than others, but it's not good.

Location is great, right on the quadrado, under the trees. Food was really good (grilled fish, wine) and prices are average (compared to some other places around, because the quadrado is generally speaking very expensive). The place is still owned by a woman from the city, which is more and more rare now. We went there twice, with the same... More
