Can get a wide variety of sushi and other dishes for a great price. I like their chawanmushi. Be warned that they only take cash.

It is very delicious sushi -go-round restaurant in a big and famous fish market. The taste is very good, but the price is very high.

The restaurant is above the fish market and busy - write your name and size of party on the list by the front door and you will be called when a space is available. Sitting at the bar with conveyor belt service of sushi and...More

I chose this place because there were nice comments for this place. I was right! It may be a little pricey compared with the other conveyor-belt sushi restaurants, but the quality compensates it. In fact, I went to this place with my British friend. Both...More

Lovely dinner of sushi in Shimonoseki fish market. It is in the second floor of the fish market building. Staff very nice and they speak a little bit of English. Fast service. Variety of sushi made with fresh fish.

This place is popular, so I recommend getting here early and don't forget to write down your name on the sign in sheet. What can I say? Some of the freshest seafood around. Yes, it's conveyor belt sushi, so it's no Jiro, but the selection...More

Located on the balcony of the Karato Sea Market, this restaurant makes the perfect lunch spot if you visit on a weekday, when there isn't much going on downstairs. Unbelievable bargain for sushi of this quality. They also serve whale dishes if you're so inclined...More

I ate here based on a Lonely Planet review. I was excited to eat sushi/sashimi from a restaurant above a Japanese fish market. When I arrived for lunch at 12:45 it was packed. There was a 15-20 minute wait. Once seated, I took my place...More
