Very friendly and attentive staff. Sangria was good. Food was lukewarm so had them reheat but didn’t seem to help. Salsa was the best ever! Lots and lots of onions and had the perfect heat - not too hot/spicy. The chips were good too. The...water had an awful smell and taste. It was probably the ice. The mole was ok and guacamole was too creamy. We will go back to try their other dishes.More

Bland in every way. The presentation, quantity, flavor....all very bland. Not terrible...just not great. The prices were reasonable, but I wouldn't come back.

We reserved a table for six in advance of a theatre visit in downtown Auburn, and there is much to like about Mazatlan. The location, a somewhat run-down strip mall, does not look especially inviting, but once you enter, you discover a huge venue full...of locals, and a diligent and helpful waitstaff. They brought us chips, salsa, and water immediately, and we browsed the enormous menu. It is pretty standard fare, and the only disappointment was that there is no black-bean option on the sides. Service was brisk, the food was hot and delicious, and our waitperson had a wonderful sense of humor, which made each encounter a pleasure. Prices were also about what you'd expect for the selection. We have no complaints whatsoever. If you are looking for the usual Tex-Mex options, Mazatlan is fine.More

We used to go 2 or 3 times a week. Changed jobs so we no longer are in the area. Food is still great. We get down there from time to time. Nothing has changed.

The Mazatlan Restaurant in Auburn, WA is always a sure thing for good Mexican food. They have a wide selection of mouth watering entrees on their menu. We live in Las Vegas but at least once every trip to the Seattle we eat here. Have been eating in this restaurant for well over 20 years. This is a family owned and run establishment.

We have been coming to this restaurant since it was a tiny hole in the wall farther down in the strip mall. The owners are wonderful people and hire people just like them. They have come so far and their current menu is very upscale....They do not use flour in their sauces (they use corn starch) so there are a number of dishes I can eat. My husband loves their "traditional" chili rellano and my favorite are the corn enchiladas. Highly recommend!More

I like it here. Good food, good service, good price. What else can you ask for. We order take out from time to time and the food never disappoints. They write the name of the food on the top of the take out containers so...we know who's food is who's without having to open every container for a look.More

Food was about average. They bring out the typical chips and salsa. my cadillac margarita was weak so I complained a bit and the second one came out strong. Both my girlfriend and I caught Norovirus out of this visit.

Working in the area so on January 6th my coworker and I went to eat there. We got hit up for money outside the door first thing. We were seated and got waited on the food was ok nothing extra ordinary. When I paid with...with my card yhe waiter said he had to rerun itfor some reason. Ya I know now after looking at my bill I was charged twice for the meal. They must of known we were from out of town. How many other people do they do this too. I will never go back and I will make sure to tell everyone I know and dont know what they did to me. I left a nice tip but being charged twice. Never ever going there if I could rate then a zero for theft of services I would !!!!More
