Trip Advisor led us here after a gas stop on our way to Mt. Rainer. Awesome! Friendly staff. Clean, nice. If you aren't a big eater, suggest you split a half-order! I had a half-order and could only eat half. The rest I had for lunch. Their banana bread is the best!

If you don't accept Amex, post a damned sign. Don't leave your incredibly lousy waitstaff to announce "We don't take that." How embarrassing. Too much food. No one finished their breakfast. You do know there are hungry people in this country, no? What a waste. Our waitress was the epitome of bad. Never came back with the promised coffee and... More

You will NOT leave this place hungry. That being said it can be a challenge if you are in a hurry. You most likely will stand in line waiting for a table and getting your meal. This place has been an Auburn institution for ever and people want to come here for meals, especially Breakfast. The omelettes are huge as... More

This place was a great choice, get there by 9am or you will have to stand in line for a while. If you have the offer of a half or whole, go with the half unless you want to take a lot of food home. I went with the half and only are half of it.

My wife and I spent the day in Auburn after returning from a cruise. We noticed that Sun Break was rated the best in the area, so we decided to give it a try. Being from the east coast, we were immediately taken back by how friendly and helpful the entire staff was. We were helped by a very sweet... More

We arrived and stood in line for at least a half hour. Not too horrible for one of the most well reviewed restaurant in town. We were then seated and waited again for a waitress to show up and take our drink order, which she forgot 33% of, aka we ordered 3 drinks and she only remembered 2. We then... More

Breakfast is good but be sure and order half order. Whole order would feed your whole family. A little on the pricey side. Usually a line to get seated. Lunch menu is basically soup/sandwiches/salads. Again unless you are really hungry a half sandwich with soup/salad will fill you up. Friendly staff. Closed Mondays

The breakfast at Sunbreak is hands down the best one in the Auburn area and I would put it up against anything in King County. Great food , HUGE portions, and a friendly staff. They have been an Auburn favorite for decades and also donate to numerous charitable causes in the community. Breakfasts aren't cheap, but I guarantee you will... More
