All reviews lunch sandwiches quiche brownie salad cookies turkey sandwich bread chilli chowder order at the counter worth the wait place to eat yummy ferry
Had a great lunch here the other day. Large selections of sandwiches and salads. The California BLT was super yummy! Service was nice and did not take long.
We stumbled on this restaurant on our way into town from the Northern Cascades. We were going on a whale tour so we did not have much time, and ordered online. The website was very easy to use. Our food was ready when we got...there and was excellent. The portions are very generous, we got the Italian sub and the Turkey sandwich. Would definitely recommend this place while you are in town!More
Some people have a favorite thing to order when they eat here. My recent favorite is the “child size” reuben. It’s just 1/2 a large and tasty reuben.
When you order your sandwich you can pick all you favorites, the condiments, bread, and frills.
There...is outside and inside dining. It all runs very efficiently. You can even bring a dog and dine outside.More
We tried the pastrami, cinnamon rolls, tomato/feta quiche, white bean soup and berry cobbler to go! We actually went there two times because it was soooo good.
We were expecting just another sandwich for the ferry and were surprised with a culinary delight. I had the Tuscan sandwich, my wife had the Crusty Croatian and we will be back after our trip to San Juan to try other sandwiches! Specifically the Reuben!...Cookies were also terrific!More
Wow. Everything was delicious and fresh, just as all the reviews say. Deli club sandwich, 5 stars. Clam chowder, 5 stars. Carrot cake, 5 stars. Kombucha on tap, 5 stars! Everything was fabulous. Place was non stop busy the whole time but moved quickly!
Excellent food and fun atmosphere! We enjoy sharing the the 3 salad plate...plenty for two, or add some soup! Our fave is the chicken mango salad! Can’t leave without a Fidalgo cookie!!
Stopped in for lunch. We weren't sure how things worked but figured out you order at the counter and then find a seat. We were early for lunch but the place filled up by the time we left. Lots of choices. We had soup and...salad. Split one of their special desserts. Loved the chowder. Try it! Casual and fun.More
Gere a Deli was super busy on a Saturday, but we were served in a reasonable amount of time. We had grandchildren 5 and 7 with us, so quick service is always a plus. The sandwich I had was a good size, but still took...half home. It was a roasted turkey with a great sauce (tuscan, I believe.) One granddaughter really liked the chili and she can be a real critic.More
Pretty amazing for a small town to have this calibur of a place to eat. The line for lunch is always long. Don't let that detour you. It is worth the wait accept no other sandwich. They are all wonderful. If you love sour dough...be sure to ask if the local Bread Farm Bread is available. YUM but all the breads are great. The desserts ... how to choose.. Just start with dessert as you could have a wait. ALSO, had my wedding for 50 catered here. AMAZING. Professional. Not your usual catered affair. Very reasonable as well. Even had their carrot cake and Cheese cake as our wedding cake. Soups in a jar... clever and delicsh. Don't stop at any chain go to old town (any day but sunday) and enjoy Ger-a-deli.More
