My husband and I made our first visit since the management changed at Ashland Coffee and Tea. I was hoping for a positive change, but unfortunately, the service remains poor, the menu has not changed and the atmosphere is dark and dirty. I don't think our waitress cracked a smile all night. Of course, she didn't have much to smile... More

We go for the entertainment, which is fine but food-wise--No decade expresso? The place could be a little gold mine if handled properly--doesn't look like this management has what takes!! They still don't accept credit cards and it's been a month since new management took over.

Perhaps it was the many bicyclists coming in all at the same time that caused confused orders and backups. The staff seemed flustered and inexperienced. However, they were trying hard to please and mostly succeeded. This could be a comfortable place to hang out and eat simple, healthy meals. The iced coffee starts with coffee ice cubes to which you... More

Wonderful!the charm of the business was only outshone by the charm of the employees. Great little coffee spot, and not to be missed!

Worst dining experience ever. A friend and I went to Ashland Coffee and Tea on a rainy Thursday afternoon. I ordered tea and chill from a woman behind a counter. I could barely make out what she was saying. She seemed put out that I was ordering from her. I asked for gluten free options she said there were none...... More

Staff was really nice. Definitely a place where people know each other and hang. Had a nice breakfast and coffee.

I used to stop here once a month on my way to a nearby retreat center, Shalom House. It's been a couple of years since then. Now there was only one woman working there who was very surly. Therefore the food took forever. The chili was dried out, the sandwich mundane. And my partner had a mediocre eggs (how can... More

I have been a long-time fan of Ashland Coffee and Tea. The listening room is terrific and it has a great vibe. The service, however, is always a bit spotty. That won't keep me from coming back but I always think about the lost revenue of the owners.

They do not have a table at eating height in the restaurant. Food was fair. I suppose it is a place where as the name describes you have tea or coffee in aging upholstered furniture, They have eggs and omelets,

Good place to go for small eats if late at night. Stepped in there on a weekend night, they had some sandwiches, and other things. I was very hungry. The band in the other part was the main attraction.
