We have visited this restaurant 3 times in the past year and each time the service has been pretty poor. Last visit we waited 30 minutes for our first drink order and there was no apology. Last night, the waiter ignored us for 20 minutes at a time. The food was only ok. The Brussels sprouts were not special and the pork taco was cold and lacking flavor. The chicken for which they are known was just ok. I really want to like this place, but three mediocre visits means we will not be back.

Chicken chicken chicken! Did I mention the chicken was fantastic?!! The chicken & biscuits were great although too much gravy was served with it-if that was even possible. The pancakes were delicious but they were more like flapjacks rather than pancakes. The meatloaf dinner was great as well served with Mac & cheese that was perfectly portioned. As was the cracking potatoes. I would not order the salmon again. It was nothing special for the price.

Had come to the Tupelo Honey in Asheville and loved it. I was so delighted that Arlington’s was just as good! Fun atmosphere. The table had gotten the traditional breakfast, fried green tomato Benedict, banana pancakes, and grits bowl. We all LOVED IT!!!! We had also gotten a side of biscuits. I would say that was our only disappointment. I’m from the Deep South, so I have pretty high standards on biscuits and these were not flakey and layered but tough and dense. That aside, we were all still very impressed with our actual meals and didn’t give the biscuits a second thought.

i have been to Tupelo Honey a couple of times and sometimes it’s great and sometimes…not. We went back because they have really good biscuits so we got an order of biscuits as well as the farm fresh plate in which you could pick 4 vegetable side - we choose the grits, macncheese, brussel sprouts, and potato cracklings. the potato cracklins were excellent and the sprouts were good; the grits were creamy but needed more flavor sbd the mac cheese was decent. the biscuits were really good especially with the blueberry compote also, customer service has also been mixed but this time the service was good

We enjoyed a brunch at this location with friends. We sat outdoors and it was a nice way to start a Sunday! There is plenty of seating, parking is available and there are restrooms on site. The hostess that we had on that day was not as pleasant as you would like, but the staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and timely. The food was excellently prepared. I recommend the Shoo Mercy which had expertly prepared waffles and chicken and to wash it down with the turmeric ginger tonic. It was a wonderful pairing and will have me coming back for more! Enjoy your visit!

A coworker said she didn’t like the food and I shouldn’t waste my time coming ; I’m so glad I didn’t listen to her. The food the service and the atmosphere was amazing. We made a reservation and was seated with in minutes of arrival and with enough space to be in a safe social distance range. Portions sizes were good for the price of the meals. Our server Forrest was amazing and made some delicious recommendations. He made our visit worth the Sunday drive. We will definitely come back and try something different.

We recently visited this restaurant. We were really looking forward to it. There menu is amazing. We were already talking about what we would order next time we come. It took us about 10 minutes to get seated. We had reservations and requested a low top table. They sat us at a high top. Oh well no biggie. We were given menus and ordered drinks. We got our drinks and they were delicious cocktails. We looked over the menu deciding what to order. We decided and our waiter didn’t come back for 30 minutes, we finally flag him down and he was like I forgot about you. So we order to adult meals, an 2 appetizer, and 2 kids meals. About 20 minutes later we get one appetizer and kids meals come out. We remind him again of the kids drinks, which he has forgot about twice. We didn’t see him again for thirty minutes. Still no adult meals. Kids are done eating. The restaurant is closing up, and we finally flag him down asking where are food is at. At this point we are ready to leave and just pay for kids food. He informs us one of the meals has been done for while, just waiting on the second one. So right after that he brings us our meal and we get one warm dish and one cold dish. And then I ask him to make sure he takes the kids drink and the second appetizer off because we never got it. We got our bill and we were overcharged. It was such a frustrating experience. No plans on returning.

Every time we visit family in Arlington we come to Tupelo Honey for breakfast. This is the first time we had the fried green tomatoes and crispy brussel sprout - so delicious! The grits were the best I had in the area; we all ordered eggs in a variety of ways and we were all happy with them. Thank you Tupelo Honey for a delicious meal.

I typically steer clear of waffles because restaurants never seem to cook them properly, but I was feeling hopeful so I got the blueberry buttermilk waffles (along with a side of eggs and toast). They were perfect. My aunt got the Egg’s Benedict with fried chicken, biscuits, and pickled onion (can’t quite remember the official name of the meal). She said it was the best Egg’s Benny she’s ever had. Initially my aunt’s order was misplaced but our waitress was quick to place and bring out the proper order which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this brunch spot but would probably suggest ordering right away and booking a reservation in advance - the waitstaff seem to be exceptionally busy.

I am a big fan of this place. I first tried this restaurant in Charlotte NC, and was not aware it was a small chain with a location near my home town. So, I was really excited to see if my local site measured up to the experience I have previously. Guess what? It did! I went for the Traditional Breakfast, which came with a variety of options, but I had to select the heirloom grits. OMG! Loved them. In addition, I added a short stack of waffles (2) on the side. I needed something sweet to finish off my meal ... and this was it! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

We went for Sunday brunch and 5 out of 5 liked their meals. Disappointed that the “debris “ was unavailable, shrimp and grits were solid. Nice biscuits with blueberries and butter for a warm up. Service was attentive without being cloying. I will absolutely be back.

Food, service, and ambiance were all good when we went for dinner last night. The host was not the friendliest and attempted to seat us between the kitchen and a large group in an almost empty restaurant. Our waitress was friendly yet kept reaching across the table to fill my water, take my empty plate, etc, instead of just waking around. Maybe she's new... Our drinks and food were good. We liked the biscuits. My salmon was well seasoned, yet just a tad bit dry. His shrimp and grits were good, yet limited in shrimp.

Gathered with family for a Sunday morning brunch. While our waitress was friendly, the food was average to be kind. Many in our party had chicken and waffles. The chicken was rather bland and overcooked, which took away for our order. We also had an order forgotten but eventually came late. Although the brunch gets started earlier than most restaurants, recommend waiting a.little later to get some real delicious food. Definitely and unequivocally, a one-time visit.

We enjoyed a variety of chicken dishes including chicken and waffles. A variety to choose from that pleased everyone. The lunch combo of soup ( sweet potato bisque) and sandwich (fried green tomato) was delicious. We will visit the Tupelo Honey restaurants in other towns after this enjoyable meal.

We come to Tupelo Honey for brunch with my family whenever we're in Arlington and are never disappointed. Portions are generous and food is delicious. Get the biscuits. Fried Green tomatoes, cheese grits and potato cracklins are also great. They make a good mimosa. I usually get eggs benedict which I like better than the avocado toast I tried this time. The kids love pancakes and waffles. You can't go wrong here fro brunch.
