We were looking for a place to eat a simple dinner that would be interesting but not too heavy and we found it in spades at Jaleo. The service was as outstanding as the food! And the wine we ordered was a truly outstanding Spanish red temperanillo. Although we only wanted s couple of tasting plates, they were so delicious... More

You can count on an unusually tasty menu at any Jose Andres restaurant and this was no exception. As vegetarians we were especially pleased with the numerous vegetable-friendly options on the menu--not always the case with tapas.

Dined here with a group for dinner. Tapas menu is filled with variety and flavor. One could visit more than once and still have parts of the menu to explore. For the average person about 3 selections make a good dinner. If you are not too hungry scale back to 2 or if a bigger appetite go to 4. Prices... More

This is a nice restaurant, modern, without blaring music. We were there on a Friday evening, and it wasn't very busy. The menu was varied, with plenty of choices for everyone, including excellent dishes for vegetarians. Portions were average. The salad for one easily served more than one person. The service was excellent. Would definitely go back again.

Modern, nicely furnished restaurant but seating was just a little tight. The menu is interesting and varied, but mostly the flavors were fantastic. We started with the apple and fennel salad which was light and refreshing and moved on to fried bacon wrapped dates, chicken, shrimp, hanger steak and chorizo. The shrimp had just enough spice and the beef was... More

If you are a sherry lover you need to try this place! They had a great selection by the glass and the bottle! In addition their wine list included many Spanish wines plus wines from other regions. My husband and I shared 6 tapas plus a dessert. All were wonderful. My favorite was the Catalan white bean salad because of... More

The last time I dined here was for a family brunch of 7, and a wonderful time was had by all.The food is great. The tapas are as good as anything I've had in Spain, and the chef's variations on traditional dishes and new creations fit in well with the old standbys. The service was also very good and added... This has to be THE best Tapas I have ever had anywhere in the States. The restaurant itself is do wide open with very high ceiling and great art deco all around. Our server Maddie went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great dining experience. She made some great recommendations of food that were all outstanding. Since... More

Large restaurant with nice atmosphere despite it being so large. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful to us, which was excellent. Come here and order 2-3 tapas dishes per person (this was plenty for us at least) and definitely branch out and try something new! Nothing to lose here. We enjoyed each dish we ordered and the unique flavors... More

Good Spanish place. Been here several times and part of a small Spanish restaurant chain in DC. Here for dinner with friends and liked the tapas style food which was well prepared and enjoyable. Recommended!
