Went here cause we stumbled on to it hunting for dinner. Very surprised and impressed with the food. Sunday night mariachi band was a boon! Food was very well done Tex Mex fare.

Lots of fun to be had with margaritas, coronas and mariachi. The food is pretty average but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. My husband threw my birthday party there and it was a ton of fun.
Whenever I'm in the mood for a margarita and Tex-Mex food, El Paso Cafe is where I go! I think El Paso Cafe just celebrated it's 25th anniversary in Arlington, which is a good indication of how popular and GOOD is this restaurant. I always start my meal with a margarita -- they have a nice variety of tequilas and... More
Although this was my first time here, it won't be my last. I recently went here with my family ( 3 of us) on a Friday. We got there while happy hour was going on (3-6 pm) and we were promptly seated. Not very long after that our waitress came with a large basket of nachos and salsa. We ordered... More
They have about 100 different tequilas, food that melts in your mouth and is the best place for Tex Mex in DC by a mile. It is not fancy food, just good food with great flavor. The menu is what you expect and want from a Tex Mex place and you will not be disappointed..

Their tamales are also fantastic. The rest is just OK but you get huge portions and a pretty cool atmosphere. I like going for lunch because... More

The menu is extensive with both Mexican and Central American dishes and I have ordered from across the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and prompt and they have an wonderful list of great Margaritas. This evening I... More
