Their menu is quite varied. Great Italian cuisine and amazing seafood prepared excellently. Service is incredible. The staff and owner make you feel like a special guest every visit. The food presentation is 5 star. The restaurant has amazing decoration and is extremely clean. I...eat here every time I visit Arlington, VA. Whether eating alone, small groups or large groups for business, their service and quality never waivers. Carlos is the best waiter in town!More

A local friend had recommended, and Mele did not disappoint! Frank took care of us and informed us on all about the establishment and the cuisine and was full of personality! Loved the fresh bread that was accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I...got the Alfredo gnocchi with mushrooms and it was out of this world!More

This neighborhood restaurant has been there for a long time. Seems like the same owner, but different name. This time around the owner seems to put money on the interior decoration and our server seemed well versed in their wine offering and recommendations. They could...match Sommeliers. The food is pretty good too. We have fish and pasta. The meat and seafood are advertised to be fresh. A good experience here.More

Slow service on a busy Saturday evening.. Owner / Managers present and trying to help out. Good food.

Mele has a great selection of Italian food, with an extensive seafood menu. Seafood is flown in fresh each day - this according to the owner. The seafood is excellent, prices are mid-high, but the quality will not disappoint you. They offer main courses in...both a small and large/standard size. Desserts are also pretty darn good. The staff is friendly enough, however not very attentive - you may need to flag someone down if you need more water or want another glass of wine. If you’re in a hurry, or have plans for a movie or show after dinner, please allow plenty of time. The owner tries to greet each guest and seems very genuine about how glad he is that you came. He also remembers you from visit to visit. I would have given Mele a 5, but I do think when you’re paying these prices, you should get more attentive service.More

What a great place!! The staff couldn't have been more friendly and excited that we were there. They gave us extensive information about the menu and were very attentive. I had the seafood fettuccine and it was one of the best pasta dishes I have...ever had! We can't wait to visit again!More

Fabulous service, great food and has been that way since I started coming here 20 years ago. You are remembered by the owner even if you haven't visited in 2 years. I have left every time (and there have been many over 20 years) so...pleased with my experience. Visited with friends, work, and wife and always pleased. I simply cannot recommend this hidden gem enough.More

On a positive note, I can say that the food seemed to be as fresh as they claimed it was. I had the endive salad which was good - although just a little too big to be a starter. For my main, I had seafood...raviolis which were definitely fresh but disappointingly bland. Service was good, and the staff were nice, but extremely slow in the beginning. I ordered a house special cocktail, and they were out of one of the ingredients. Instead of asking me if I wanted to have it without the one ingredient, they just said they couldn't do it. I think this is because the waiter was also the bartender and was too overwhelmed to multiple tasks. I told him to make it without the one ingredient, and he begrudgingly did so. I initially wanted the seasonal squash raviolis, but they were out of it and settled for the terribly bland seafood raviolis. Overall, mediocre and unmemorable food. Good service, but for the price I definitely want go back. Main platers were around $25-$30.More

I ate at Mele on multiple nights during recent business in and around Arlington. I have to tell you, everything was good. Quality is high. Preparations authentic. Prices fair. And, many healthy options. There aren’t a lot of high quality dining options in the neighborhood....Mele is a standout. Highly recommended.More

The menu is posted outside. But they don't tell you how awful the service is. Avoid this place at all costs.
