Came with a party of about 30. Service was terribly slow. Food came out of Kitchen cold for most of us. No wine by the bottle. Very Noisy. I would like to try this place as a regular customer as food coming out of the Kitchen did look really good.

We had lunch and I was a little late, but they ordered onion rings which looked nice and light and crisp. I ordered the lamb burger, rare, and it was just right! We kept getting our ice teas filled up and the food and service was wonderful. I'm going back.

Very good food and service, and good value (Clarendon is NOT a low-price dining area!). Business lunch with just entrees and soft drinks. I had the tuna burger--very tasty with a just spicy enough slaw. My colleague had the burger; it looked very good and he enjoyed it. I had fries with mine--nothing special. He had a side salad--looked very... More

Liberty Tavern is a great neighborhood pub that also serves a fantastic menu. Whether you are stopping in for a pint, a casual brunch, or meeting friends for dinner, Liberty Tavern does not disappoint. Looking for a solid lunch? Grab a burger and a pint. Looking for a nice spot for dinner? Head upstairs and try out the flat iron... More

This was my first time visiting the LIberty Tavern, though I'm a frequent visitor to D.C., and Arlington. Glad I went there, cause the Saturday Brunch Buffet was everything everyone said it was... "Excellent"!!! The price per person was well worth the quality and quantity of food! Though it's located upstairs, with an elevator for those with difficulty, the food... More

Thus place gas been a favorite since it opened many years ago. Really on ed of the first that offered fresh, chef-inspired menus. Seasonally updated menus. Really a great restaurant upstairs , with a bar down stairs. The first floor is really loud. Unfortunately, conversation in the upstairs restaurant is not easy either. Tables are pretty close together, inadequate insulation,... More

We met another couple for dinner here last weekend. The cocktails were excellent, as was the bread and the main dishes. Our party enjoyed steak, salmon, short ribs, and a burger. Everyone cleaned their plate. The service was also excellent. Our table was ready right on time, our server was very pleasant and attentive without being annoying. We sat next... More

I met a friend here for dinner and drinks last week. We sat outside, which was nice. The ambience inside was pretty nice also. The service was below average as we kept getting different servers throughout the evening. I understand switching when a person's shift is over but it's distracting when it happens several times. The food was above average... More

We stopped in for a late lunch in the bar to watch the Florida/Tennessee game on tv. We ordered the Apple Frisee Salad, the Cubano Panino, and the Grilled Cheese sandwich, local draft beers and cider in a can. Everything was good and we had a good spot from which to watch the game.

We met friends here because one person in our group has a dog and they have great outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. The location is great, service is good and wood-fired pizza is awesome. We will definitely go back.
