Great, Even During COVID

This place has adapted well to the current environment, although I admit it was very strange to walk in and see this place empty as it is usually bustling. The take out containers for the broth are very sturdy, the noodles come in their own container and then the "fixin's" come in a separate bag. Each order comes with chopsticks as well as a small plastic "pho" spoon. Remember- it is CASH only.

The phở is not the best but it’s certainly above average and cheap; that’s why there’s always a long Q at meal times. Only phở is offered here - forget it if you want other Viet dishes. Heavy carnivores can order extra meat cuts (eg. meatballs, beef brisket, tripes, beef fat, etc). 75 refers to the year when Vietnam was reunified or South Vietnam lost the war, depending on which side you’re on (or whether you’re just neutral). For the owners here, they lost the war but won the battle of phở!

Explosion of taste

Anyone who is around me knows I can always go for some great tasting soup….. I have been coming to this place for years now and every time I go there I am always surprised by the explosion of taste in my mouth. Guys listen you have to try them for yourself and let me know what you think 🤭🤭🤭

Cash Only and Cruddy Service; Food Not Worth Agony of the Service

I ordered ahead and they told me 15 minutes. The 15 minute estimated wait time was totally disrespectful in the midst of Covid-19. It took at least 45 minutes to provide the food, and they weren't that crowded, so they should have been able to estimate their wait time much more accurately. People who walked into the restaurant after me got served before me. All I ordered was two chicken Phos. It made no sense. When I asked all I got was "It's coming." When I asked why people who walked in after me got their meal before me, all I got was the same thing. They have a lousy web-site; mostly just ads. The best delivery place had a picture of the menu. That should tell you what you need to know about the service. It's cash only, which is ok, but the price was more than on the menu I saw on-line and for cash only, the price charged didn't seem better than other places that accept credit. Horrible experience. Would be at least 10 years before I would try again if ever. It reminded me of Seinfeld, and I wished I had walked out even if my order was ready the second I walked out. p.s. In a car, Namviet restaurant in Arlington is close (maybe 5 minutes or less away), has more food options, and is absolutely tons better for food quality and service.

New Sriracha Sauce Soured the Delicate Pho Broth!

What happened to Huy Fong Sriracha hot sauce? We had pho today, but they no longer use sriracha sauce from Huy Fong's. Instead the new sriracha (if you can even call it that) had is sour and gave the pho soup an unpleasant smell and taste. Please bring back Huy Fong sriracha sauce. I and probably many other customers prefer Huy Fong's sriracha. Though the service is great and the atmosphere is pleasant, I gave it an overall rating of two stars for unpleasnt taste due to the new sriracha sauce - it really ruined what should have been a tasty bowl of pho.

Meh experience. As it says in its name - it's pho, not much else

Yes, this place is traditional and busy. Yes, everyone seems busy slurping pho. Some of us were disappointed that the flavor was bland (maybe that's why there's sriracha on every table . . . ). Don't order the large - lots of broth and not an equal amount of pho - get a medium. Plus, beware, no vegetarian option. Also, definitely be ready to order and don't ask any questions - otherwise, you fall into a black hole and your waiter disappears. Meh.

Definitely best pho anywhere!

Definitely the best pho we've tasted anywhere. Restaurant was packed and we now know why. Very flavorful broth. Wait was about 20 minutes to event get seated during busy dinner time. Area has a lot of other restaurants in the immediate area if you want to grab dessert afterwards. Highly recommended.

Okay choice if you want a quick bowl of pho.... and that's it.

The pho is reasonably flavorful, and it's served quick.... because that's all they do. They must have giant vats of it in the back. You want a noodle bowl? Nope. Spring rolls? Forget it. You want choice? You can get beef or chicken in your pho. That's your choice. Absolutely zero stars for service. I was rudely shown to a table, expected to order before I had a chance to read the menu, and treated poorly when I asked questions. I should have walked out at that point. Then, a family was seated at my table even thought the place was still only half full. If you want pho (and only pho), are in a hurry, and don't care how you are treated, then you might be happy here.

IMPORTANT reminder！Overcharge!

IMPORTANT reminder！Please make sure to ask for a receipt when checking out! It has come to our attention that the cashier may intentionally overcharge (yes, intentionally). Since this is a CASH ONLY restaurant, the cashier typically does not provide a receipt unless you request one. Tonight, while checking out, we noticed that the cashier had overcharged us. When we brought it to his attention, he claimed the extra amount was due to TAX, which was untrue. Upon closer inspection, we realized that he had increased the unit price of each item by 0.5 to 1 dollar before calculating the total. When we corrected him, he became upset...He even started swearing at us... This doesn’t seem like an innocent mistake made during a busy moment, but rather an intentional effort to overcharge, assuming customers won’t check the receipt carefully. Be vigilant and always review your receipt to ensure you’re not being overcharged!

Roach!!!

A roach nearly half the length of my shoe politely pranced by me on the floor. I was disgusted and didn't even try the food. Before that, I was excited about eating there. The line was nearly out the door my first visit so I walked away to try another day. This time there was a line but much less of a wait. I watched a restaurant full of people enjoying their food. I couldn't seem to make out the type of meat. I was lucky enough to sit in front of a loyal customer of almost 30 years. He gave me some tips on what to order. When "We" saw the roach he didn't even flinch and said " I've never seen that before". 😳 I discreetly grabbed my coat and walked out before my food came. I haven't seen bugs that big outside much less in a eatery.

This Pho 75 is very efficient at takeout. They package well and get orders ready quickly. Do know it is cash only. Do not eat here if you want a panoply of Vietnamese dishes. While many kinds of pho are on offer, that is all that is offered.

Best Pho

One of the last Vietnamese food haven from when Wilson Blvd was called Little Vietnam. This outpost is wonderful Pho. Bowls all amazing and are the standard for good tasting Pho. Make sure to have the Vietnamese Ice Coffee. Most stop for Pho lovers!!! CASH ONLY
