Always good and always consistent. Lunch specials are fantastic! Note: Pad Thai is great (but not so good as a "carry out".

We live nearby and have been enjoying Ghin Na Ree for more than 12 years under the current owners, and for many additional years prior (it was also Thai, the name and decor - and most of the menu, did not change). Why did it not occur to me to review it earlier? This is one of our favorite go-to... More

I have tried many dishes on the menu at this Thai restaurant as well as tried many other Thai restaurants in the Arlington area. The food is always delicious and always hot and fresh. The store is locally owned and operated. It is by far the best Thai food for a great price that I have been too.

We had eaten at a Peter Chang's restaurant in Charlottesville, VA, so we were excited when this restaurant opened in DC. However, the very, very long lines left us looking elsewhere. This highly recommended restaurant beckoned, and we are so glad we went there! Great service, generous portions, terrific soup! Nothing disappointing in this wonderful spot!

My son, a recent college graduate, and his friends frequent this place because of the affordable lunch specials. He said the price is great for all you get, and the food tastes good. I had to try this myself. He was right. For less than seven bucks, you get: unlimited iced tea, soup, egg roll with duck sauce, and entrée... More

We came on a weekday for their lunch special. The amount of food that you get for $6.95 is absolutely crazy. You get an appetizer, soup, rice, and a giant portion of your choice. You'll be content when you walk out of there. I'm glad a friend introduced me to this place. Great for lunch.

This place has been in the Harrison Street Shopping Center forever, something over thirty years. We decided to try it. Mistake. Highly Americanized with American ingredients here and there. Not tasty and really mediocre. With all the really good Thai restaurants in Arlington, I am amazed this place survives. Do not bother.

I have friends who really like this place, but me, not so much. I have had carryout from it a few times and eaten in a couple times and was not overwhelmed. It's okay, that's all.

Once we got over the name we decided we had to try this place. We had LOW expectations. We were DEAD wrong. The small dining room was quaint, and I assume authentic (not being Thai, myself) The food was really awesome and the quantity was ridiculous. We ate our left overs for the next two days. The drinks were reasonably... More

A great little family run restaurant very accommodating staff promptly serves fresh home style food. Large portions at bargain prices take out and delivery available. If you are looking for good home style cooking at very reasonable prices, this is for you.
