Great local place for subs, pizza, prepared Italian foods, wine and other goodies. Very busy on the weekends. Highly recommend.

This place is probably in its 30 th year of doing business in the same place. Still serving great cold cut sandwiches etc. Also a lg variety of Italian specialty products and wines.

This place is awesome! Great new location as well. The sandwiches are amazing. We get them every time we're heading through the northern VA/DC area. Good authentic Italian subs. I would highly recommend this place.

We love the Italian store, and the new location with outdoor seating is great. Both their subs and pizzas are awesome. Highly recommend!

You can come for the subs--fresh, flavorful meats and cheeses on lovely crusty rolls--or the hot, gooey pizza with high quality toppings. You can come for the wonderful frozen ravioli and other frozen pastas, the many cheeses, olives, and other pantry goodies. Or try the well selected wines, and enjoy conversation at the little tables. There's a coffee bar and... More

Man. That was one decent pie. Of pizza. Good flavor. Little crazy with da cheese. But yah. I ate so much pizza I got grease all over my face but I didn't care.

Stopped here on the way home from Reagan Airport to bring home lunch. Bought pizza, sandwiches, chips, wine and cheese. All very good and reasonably priced. Staff was attentive and helpful. Great food at great prices.

The Italian Store's presence in Westover is certainly a great improvement "business-wise" over the decrepit "7-11" that had been there for many years. If nothing else, the east end of the shopping strip it's located in is 'newer' and 'cleaner'. As the 'Second Opening" has been hyped and discussed for many months, I was looking forward to seeing just 'how... More

This is an interesting place. The store has imported groceries and wines and the deli has some prepared carry home ethnic foods as well as a small selection of salads and meats to purchase by the pound. Its real claim to fame, however appears to me to be the subs and pizza. The pizzas are huge, 16 inch pies with... More

If you like authentic Italian, or aren't sure but want to try, shop here. I lived in Italy (Sicily) for two years and when I got back to the U.S., this was a regular stop for me. You might find some items a bit pricey but worth it, in my opinion. A good stop on the Martha Custis bike trail... More
